A jawline is an edge, and the eye reads an edge as the place where light stops. Six energy platforms in this building work on that edge at four different depths. This page sorts them by depth, by unit and by published rate.
The distinction worth holding is between a pocket and a line. A soft bag hanging forward of the border is a volume that has moved, treated as its own finding on the jowl sagging page. This page is about the border’s definition: whether the edge stays crisp from chin to angle, or dissolves along the way into the plane beneath.
Definition is also separate from width. A lower face that reads wide from an overbuilt chewing muscle is a muscle question, covered under jaw botox. Energy does not slim a muscle and injections do not tighten a dermis, so the consultation settles which of the two you walked in with.
Depth is the variable that separates these machines; the unit and the rate follow from it.
Focused ultrasound places energy in discrete points at a set depth, and Ultherapy Prime works at 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm with live imaging to 8 mm before the shot. This is the layer people mean when they say a jaw has dropped.
Monopolar radiofrequency heats a broad field at dermal level instead of a point. Thermage FLX, Density and XERF sit here, differing in tip, session size and how energy is spread across the pass.
Coolwaves™ microwaves are taken up selectively by tissue holding water and fat, the layer that blurs a jaw border in profile. Onda is the only platform here that works this way, dosed in kilojoules.
New Titanium (Portra Quattro) runs multi-wavelength passes across the surface and the layer below it, dosed in kilojoules. It is the mild end of the list, planned for texture along the jaw as much as firmness.
Most faces present at more than one of those depths at once, and the reading settles which is dominant — the depth worth paying for first. Spending the same budget on the third-ranked depth is how people end up saying an energy session did nothing.
Each is stocked on 5F and 7F, published on our rate list, and carries a page of its own with the full protocol.
| Platform | Mechanism and depth | Sold in | What it does at the jaw border | Listed rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ultherapy Prime | Imaging-guided focused ultrasound (MFU-V) at 1.5 / 3.0 / 4.5 mm, imaged to 8 mm | 100 shots | Point heating in the deep layer; the shot map sets the coverage | ₩400,000 (≈ $285) |
| Thermage FLX | Monopolar radiofrequency with AccuREP™, dermis-level, wide field | 600-shot tip | One sealed tip spread over the lower face, for skin quality along the line | ₩1,900,000 (≈ $1,355) |
| Density — Classic tip | High-density monopolar radiofrequency, dermis-level | 300 shots | Entry tier of the three-tip line, planned across visits | ₩700,000 (≈ $500) |
| Density — High tip | The same platform, High tip fitted | 300 shots | Firmer delivery over the same field | ₩900,000 (≈ $645) |
| Density — Alpha tip | The top tip of the Density line | 300 shots | Used when the jaw field is the main event of the plan | ₩1,300,000 (≈ $930) |
| Density — Alpha tip, double session | The same Alpha tip, twice the shot count | 600 shots | Full lower-face coverage in one sitting | ₩2,000,000 (≈ $1,430) |
| XERF | Next-generation radiofrequency built for uniform delivery at depth | 300 shots | An even field along the jaw | ₩1,300,000 (≈ $930) |
| XERF, double session | The same platform, twice the shot count | 600 shots | Lower face and jaw in one appointment | ₩1,600,000 (≈ $1,145) |
| Onda Coolwaves™ | DEKA microwaves, taken up by water-rich tissue | 60 kJ | Soft fullness that blurs the border in profile | ₩500,000 (≈ $355) |
| New Titanium (Portra Quattro) | Multi-wavelength passes at the surface and shallow dermis | 40 kJ | The mild pass — texture and tone as well as firmness | ₩600,000 (≈ $430) |
| Eye Thermage — the adjacent line | The same radiofrequency platform, eye tip fitted | 450-shot tip | Treats the eyelid field — listed because it sits beside the jaw rows on the card | ₩2,200,000 (≈ $1,570) |
Eleven published lines, one border. The row your plan lands on comes from the reading, and the whole card sits on the published price list. The lifting and tightening category page compares the same platforms across the rest of the face.
Most jaw plans here are a sequence with dates, and the gaps do as much work as the sessions.
Whichever layer the scan scores worst takes the first appointment, at full unit count. Splitting a budget evenly across three depths on day one buys three underdosed fields and no read on which of them was worth it.
Heat-driven change builds over weeks, so a second platform booked too early is bought blind. Your director sets the interval and writes the review date into the plan at the first visit, and the next session is confirmed only at that review.
Whether two platforms can share one appointment depends on the depths involved and on your skin that day. The director decides it at the consultation, and where the answer is no, the reason is that stacking heat in one field raises the burn risk for no added benefit.
No month figure for how long a jaw result holds is published here. Duration turns on age, skin thickness, sun history, weight and how your collagen answers heat, so you are given a conservative expectation, a review date and the unit rate for whatever comes next.
Four readings send people off this page entirely, and each is common enough to name.
Threads sit between the two families: they move tissue mechanically on the day along a vector mapped above the border, priced per thread, and they suit a border that has genuinely dropped in skin of reasonable quality. See the thread lift page.

All photos are unretouched before/after cases of the same person under the same conditions, treated at Dear Clinic and shown with consent. Individual results may vary; no specific outcome is implied or promised.
Each case is labelled with the treatment it received, and all four are face cases. Reading a jaw comparison fairly starts with matching chin height and lens distance, because two centimetres of chin lift sharpens a border on its own.
Imaging-guided ultrasound, three radiofrequency systems, a microwave platform and a multi-wavelength system sit across 5F and 7F, beside the toxin and filler lines that answer what energy cannot. Because no console has to be kept busy, a consultation ending in one 60 kJ session, or in none, costs us nothing to give.
EVE Muse captures in 3D under five light sources with AI analysis, and the border is read at three angles beside the hands-on check. Depth first, device second.
Along the jaw the margin is narrow: a transducer over bone, or a pass stacked twice in one spot, is where burns and temporary numbness come from. Your session is director-performed by the doctor who read your scan, and the same doctor takes the review.

Those are five different purchases wearing similar-looking numbers: a block of ultrasound shots, a sealed consumable tip, a graded tip at a fixed shot count, and two energy budgets in kilojoules. What decides your own total is how much of the jaw field the plan covers, written down and agreed before a consumable is opened.
International visitors pay the same published figures as Korean patients, with no surcharge. Consultation and aftercare arrangements are explained at your appointment. Density carries four rates because the tip is graded — ₩900,000 (≈ $645) High, ₩1,300,000 (≈ $930) Alpha at 300 shots, ₩2,000,000 (≈ $1,430) at 600 — and XERF two, ₩1,300,000 (≈ $930) and ₩1,600,000 (≈ $1,145). The eye tip at ₩2,200,000 (≈ $1,570) belongs to the eyelid field.
If the reading says your jaw border needs nothing this year, that is the sentence you get, and it costs us the booking.
We do not recommend an energy session where the skin gathers into a fold that stays put, where the concern is muscle width, or where a lean jaw offers a microwave platform nothing to couple into. Active infection, inflammation or sunburn along the jaw postpones a session. Implanted electronic devices, metal in the field, pregnancy and breastfeeding sometimes rule a platform out.
Outcomes differ between individuals and are assessed at your in-person diagnosis.
Tell your director about implanted electronic devices, metal in the field, previous threads or filler along the jaw, neuromuscular conditions, pregnancy and breastfeeding. Several change the platform and one or two rule a session out.

I've visited clinic for LDM procedure. I don't speak Korean, so there was an interpreter who assisted me while consulting. The staff was very attentive, they asked me every time before applying products/covering my face during the procedure and it went smoothly. Planning to visit the clini…
All the staff are kind, the doctor is professional. They recommended us the treatment that fit us best and last the longest. A very nice experience overall.
I did a hydrofacial, white/black head removal, and 1 day lasers. Really kind staff and reasonable prices. The only thing I would advise is that your first consultation is with a salesperson and you don’t see the doctor until after you decide what you want and after you pay.
Had a great experience here as a foreigner! The doctors and staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy. They made recommendations in my consultation and were happy to work within my budget.
