Which is better for a jawline that has dropped, Ultherapy or Thermage?

How is Ultherapy Prime different from the classic Ultherapy machine?
Visualisation reaches 8 mm on Prime against 4.5 mm on the classic unit, so thicker skin can be read properly before energy is delivered. The ultrasound field is twice the size and the display 35% larger, with noise reduction sharpening the image. Treatment also runs about 20% faster.
Is either of them the same as a thread lift?
No. Both are energy treatments that heat tissue so it contracts and rebuilds over time, while a thread lift physically repositions tissue with absorbable threads and shows its change immediately. Some plans combine an energy device with threads, and the scan is what decides.
What are the risks, and who should not have these treatments?
Redness, swelling, bruising and several days of tenderness are the common ones. Temporary numbness or tingling along a nerve branch is less common but does occur, and burns or a hollow where energy has been over-stacked are the rare failures both technologies share. We do not recommend either device over an active skin infection or inflamed acne in the treatment zone, during pregnancy, or where an implanted electronic device sits in the field.
