Same-Day Skin Treatments

Diagnosis, plan and treatment can happen in one visit — but not for everything. This page sets out what realistically fits into the day you first walk in, what your director will tell you to stage, and how to build either one around a short trip to Seoul.

The Short Answer

Can I be treated the same day?

For most treatments at Dear Clinic, yes. A first visit runs as one continuous appointment: the EVE Muse 3D + AI diagnosis, then the director going through what it shows, then treatment straight afterwards where the director confirms it suits you. Energy lifting, hyaluronic acid filler, botulinum toxin and thread lifting are routinely same-day. Course-based and sequenced combination plans are the exceptions, and they are named further down this page.

Most people asking this are asking a travel question. You have four days in Seoul, two of them already committed, and you want to know whether the consultation is a separate errand or the same appointment as the treatment. At Dear it is the same appointment: the scan, the medical conversation and the procedure run back to back, seven days a week.

What we will not do is turn “same day” into a promise made before anyone has looked at your skin. The diagnosis comes first so the answer can be specific: this today, that on a later trip, and this other thing not at all. Saying yes before the examination is not efficiency. It is the examination being skipped.

Usually Same-Day

What fits into one visit

Four families of treatment that are commonly performed on the day of the first consultation, once the director has confirmed they suit you.

01

Energy lifting

HIFU and radiofrequency sessions are the easiest to fit into a trip. Ultherapy Prime and Shurink Universe (focused ultrasound), Thermage FLX, Density and XERF (RF), Onda and Titanium all leave practically no downtime for most patients — mild warmth or redness settles within hours to a day.

02

Hyaluronic acid filler

Single-area filler is planned and injected in the same visit — chin, nose, cheek, nasolabial folds, lips, forehead, earlobes. Expect mild swelling or a small bruise near the injection point that settles over a few days; lips swell for the first day or two.

03

Botulinum toxin

Movement-line and contouring toxin work has practically no downtime — you return to normal plans right away, avoiding rubbing the treated area and lying flat for a few hours. See toxin compared with filler if you are unsure which problem you have.

04

Thread lifting

Threads are performed the same day and show a firmer contour on the day, but the downtime is modest and real: some swelling and possible bruising for a few days, and a tight, pulling feeling that eases over one to two weeks. Suitable for a trip that has room left after it. It is a poor choice for the night before a flight.

Every one of these depends on the same condition: the diagnosis, the medical history you give us, and a director confirming that today is the right day. Suitability is a medical judgement. Your schedule does not enter into it.

Better Planned

What we will ask you to stage

Not everything belongs in a single afternoon. These are the cases where compressing the plan into your trip would cost you the result you came for.

01

Regenerative booster courses

A first session can be done on the day, but the effect belongs to a course: boosters are typically planned as a short series spaced a few weeks apart, with intervals set so the skin is not over-treated at once. We start what is worth starting on the day and book the rest with the intervals left intact. Compare the two most-asked-about boosters.

02

Sequenced combinations

Combining a structural lift with energy work, or filler with a booster, takes judgement about order and interval — sequencing is planned so the skin is not over-stimulated in one sitting. Part of the plan often happens today and part on a second visit. See threads compared with HIFU and filler compared with boosters.

03

Inherently multi-session work

Some treatments are multi-session by nature. Laser tattoo removal is planned as a series spaced roughly six to eight weeks apart, and layered acne-scar work is staged from the deep layer through to the surface. One visit begins that work; it cannot complete it, and we say so before you pay for anything.

04

When medicine says wait

Tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or taking anticoagulants — several treatments are not appropriate and the plan is built around that. Active inflammation in the treatment area can also turn today's appointment into a diagnosis-and-plan visit instead.

Being asked to stage a plan costs you nothing on the day. The scan, the written plan and the published prices go home with you either way, and nothing is charged for a treatment that did not happen.

Weekdays run 10:00–19:00 and weekends and public holidays 10:00–16:00, with no lunch closure — the full year-round schedule is on our 365-day opening page. A holiday falling in the middle of your trip is a normal working day here.

STEP 01

Message before you fly

Send the consultation form on this page, or write to us on WhatsApp at +82 10-2820-2681, with your dates and what you are considering. A written English reply follows within one business day — including a straight answer on whether it is realistic for the days you have.

STEP 02

Hold a slot

No deposit is taken to reserve, and no Korean phone number or resident registration number is needed. Weekend and holiday slots fill first, so an early message buys the hour you actually want.

STEP 03

Scan, then decide

The visit opens with the EVE Muse 3D scan — three-dimensional imaging with five light sources and AI analysis — and then the director goes through the findings with you. You see the itemised plan and the total, and you approve both before anything begins.

STEP 04

Treat and go

Where same-day treatment is appropriate it follows immediately, performed by that same director. Aftercare instructions are given in English before you leave, and you can message us from home afterwards.

Dear, Knowhow

Why “today” is a medical answer here

Three structural reasons the same-day answer you get at Dear is worth trusting.

01 — THE FULL ARSENAL

Every option is already in the building

Lifting, fillers, boosters, pigment lasers and body treatments all sit on the same two floors. No machine here needs today’s booking to pay for itself, so “wait” and “not this one” are answers that cost us nothing.

02 — DIAGNOSIS FIRST

The scan settles it before the calendar does

Every plan begins with the EVE Muse scan: 3D imaging, five light sources, AI analysis. A same-day yes therefore rests on something specific — the director has read your skin thickness, texture, pigment and elasticity pattern on screen before the word “today” is used, and a scan that shows active inflammation, very thin skin over a planned injection point or a pattern that needs staging turns today into a planning visit.

03 — DIRECTOR-PERFORMED

The doctor who agrees to today treats you

Consultation and treatment are director-performed at Dear. The doctor who judges whether today is appropriate is the doctor holding the handpiece afterwards, so if the scan changes the plan, it changes in the same room, with the same person, before you have paid.

Pricing

What does a same-day
treatment cost in Seoul?

Exactly what the published list says. Dear Clinic applies one price list to everyone — there is no same-day surcharge, no weekend or holiday surcharge and no separate visitor price. Korean won is what you pay and the USD figures shown on this site are an approximate reference. Your itemised plan and total are confirmed after the diagnosis and before treatment starts.
ExampleUnitPublished price
Ultherapy Prime100 shots — plans are built in 100-shot increments₩400,000 (≈ $285)
Juvederm filler1 cc — most areas use more than one unit₩400,000 (≈ $285)
EVE Muse 3D + AI diagnosisConsultation, plan and aftercare guidanceincluded
The complete list is published on our price list page, and it is the same list a same-day quote is built from.
Most plans combine several units, so a same-day quote is itemised from listed prices after the scan.
Featured program prices may exclude VAT where the banner states so; ask and we confirm the final figure in writing.
Card payment is accepted, and nothing is charged that you have not seen and approved.

Because the list is public, there is no commercial reason to add units to a same-day plan. If a smaller plan serves you better, that is what we prescribe and what you pay for.

Caution

After a same-day treatment

Mild redness or warmth after energy treatments settles within hours to a day for most patients.
After injectables, mild swelling or a small bruise can appear near the injection point and settles over a few days.
After toxin, avoid rubbing the treated area and lying flat for a few hours.
Avoid alcohol and saunas for a few days, and skip harsh, high-stimulation skincare while your skin recovers.
Message us if something worries you once you are home; the settings used and the plan you approved are on your record here, which is what an answer is built from.

FAQ

Same-day treatment, answered

Can I really be treated on the same day as my consultation, and how long does the visit take?
Usually yes. One appointment covers the EVE Muse 3D + AI diagnosis, the director going through what it shows, and the treatment itself where the director confirms it suits you. Tell us at booking how much time you have and we will hold a slot long enough for the plan you are asking about. Nothing is performed before you have seen the itemised plan and the total and agreed to both.
Which treatments can usually be done on my first visit?
Energy lifting — HIFU such as Ultherapy Prime and Shurink Universe, and radiofrequency such as Thermage FLX, Density and XERF, along with Onda and Titanium — plus hyaluronic acid filler, botulinum toxin and thread lifting. All are commonly performed on the day of the consultation once suitability is confirmed on the scan.
What will you ask me to stage across two visits?
Regenerative booster courses, which run as a short series spaced a few weeks apart. Sequenced combinations, where the order and the interval are the whole point. And treatments that are multi-session by nature: laser tattoo removal is planned roughly six to eight weeks apart, and layered acne-scar work moves from the deep layer to the surface over separate visits.
Do I need to book in advance, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome. Weekends and public holidays fill up first, though, so a booked slot means little or no wait and gives the team time to prepare English coordination. No deposit is required to hold an appointment, and no Korean phone number or resident registration number is needed to make one.
How close to my flight can I have a treatment?
Low-downtime energy treatments and toxin are the most flight-friendly, since redness usually settles within hours to a day. Filler wants a day or two of room because of mild swelling, lips especially. Thread lifting wants several days: swelling and possible bruising last a few days, and the tight, pulling feeling eases over one to two weeks.
Will it be obvious that I have had something done?
For most energy treatments, mild redness or warmth is what shows, and it settles within hours to a day. Injectables can leave mild swelling or a small bruise near the injection point for a few days. At the diagnosis your director will say what your particular plan is likely to look like that evening and the next morning, which is the answer that matters if you have a dinner booked.
Can I have more than one treatment in a single visit?
Often, but only where the sequence is sound. Combining modalities takes judgement about order and interval so the skin is not over-stimulated at once, and that judgement comes from your scan. Where two treatments should not share a day, the second is scheduled and the reason is explained.
What happens if the doctor says today is not the right day?
You leave with the diagnosis, a written plan and a price built from the published list, and nothing is charged for a treatment that did not take place. The reasons range from a course being the correct format to a medical one: pregnancy, breastfeeding, anticoagulants or active inflammation in the treatment area all change what can safely be done today.
Is a same-day treatment more expensive?
No. One published price list applies to everyone, with no same-day surcharge, no weekend or holiday surcharge and no separate price for international visitors. Two published examples: ₩400,000 (≈ $285) for 100 shots of Ultherapy Prime, ₩400,000 (≈ $285) for 1 cc of Juvederm. KRW is what you pay and the USD figures are an approximate reference.
Can I get an idea of the plan and price before I arrive in Seoul?
Yes. Send the form on this page or message WhatsApp +82 10-2820-2681 with your travel dates and what you are considering, and we reply in English within one business day with an indicative plan built from the published list. The exact quote is finalised after the in-person scan, because a figure given before anyone has seen your skin is a guess.
Are same-day treatments available on Sundays and public holidays?
Yes. Weekdays run 10:00 to 19:00 and weekends and public holidays 10:00 to 16:00, with no lunch closure, so a Sunday slot is a full clinical slot and not a reduced one. A national holiday landing in the middle of a short trip is a normal working day here.
What should I bring and tell you before a same-day treatment?
Bring a passport or ID, and a list of your current medication, supplements and any allergy history. Tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or taking anticoagulants. These questions come before every treatment because complete answers change what can safely be recommended on the day.
