The clinic was very professional from start to finish. Doctor Jung was excellent and gentle with the treatment. I felt well looked after and everyone was outstanding. Happy with my service!

The two most-asked-about injectables, and the two most often confused. One relaxes a muscle so the lines it folds soften; the other adds hyaluronic acid where the face has gone flat. Four things separate them: what the line does, what the tissue is doing, how fast each works, and whether it can be undone.
The useful pair of words is relax and restore. Botulinum toxin quiets an overactive muscle, so the lines that muscle folds into the skin ease off, and where the chewing muscle is the target the lower face can read slimmer as its bulk settles. Filler is a hyaluronic-acid gel placed at a chosen anatomical layer — deep, mid or superficial — to rebuild volume or refine a contour. Because they answer different problems, most plans at Dear use both: toxin above the brow, filler below the eye.
The plain-English comparison — what each one does, where it works, how each one ends, and what it costs at Dear.
| Botulinum Toxin ("Botox") | Filler | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Relaxes a muscle to soften movement lines | Restores volume & shape with hyaluronic acid |
| Best for | Frown & forehead lines, crow's feet, jaw slimming | Cheeks, lips, chin, nose, under-eye, contour |
| Result timing | Nothing changes on the day; softening arrives over the following days | Volume is there the moment it is placed, then settles |
| How it ends | Movement gradually returns; re-treated when it does | Your body breaks the HA down gradually; topped up when you want |
| Downtime | Practically none | Mild swelling/bruising possible a few days |
| Reversible? | No — simply wears off over time | HA filler can be dissolved if needed |
| At Dear, from | Wrinkle, per area: ₩30,000 (≈ $20) (Korean) to ₩150,000 (≈ $105) (premium imported) | 1cc from ₩130,000 (≈ $95); premium & specialty areas priced higher |
Toxin is offered across tiers — Korean, imported and premium imported — and filler ranges from everyday HA to premium and specialty-area products; your director recommends a tier at consultation. Dear does not publish a fixed number of months for either: how long a toxin dose holds and how long a gel lasts both move with the area, the dose or volume placed, and your own metabolism, so your director gives you a range for the exact product chosen and checks it at review. All prices are published rates, identical for locals and international visitors, and your plan is approved before treatment.
Take them one at a time. Three of the four usually point the same way, and when they do the answer is already made before anyone opens a product.
Sit still in front of a mirror and stop expressing. A forehead line, an "11" or a crow's foot that vanishes when your face goes blank is a movement line, and toxin treats it at the muscle. A crease still there at rest is etched into the skin or shadowed by lost volume, which is filler's side of the ledger.
An enlarged chewing muscle and a short chin both widen the lower face, and the two look similar in a photograph. Relaxing the muscle is the direct answer to the first; adding projection is the direct answer to the second. The EVE 3D scan is what tells them apart.
Toxin shows nothing on the day and softens over the days that follow, so it needs planning ahead of an event. Filler is visible as it is placed and can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if the result is not what you agreed. Toxin cannot be reversed; it has to wear off.
The fourth axis is what you are willing to maintain. Toxin is a rhythm — movement returns, and the treatment is repeated when it does. Filler is a single placement that your own body then breaks down slowly, so it is topped up on a longer cycle and can be left to fade entirely with nothing to undo. Whichever way the first three axes point, a plan you cannot keep up is a plan we will talk you out of.

Most faces present with more than one kind of change at once, which is why a single plan usually runs on both sides of the ledger:
Every toxin tier and every filler family on the price list is held here, so a plan can be toxin only, filler only, both, or neither. What that removes is the pressure to answer a mixed problem with whichever of the two happens to be at hand.
Four HA filler families and toxin in Korean, imported and premium imported tiers — all of it published, all of it in one price list.
An EVE Muse 3D capture with five-light-source analysis is what settles the first two axes, because a line photographed at rest and a line photographed mid-expression are different objects and the eye alone will confuse them. Where filler is the answer, the map also fixes the layer and the volume, down to 0.1 cc.
Injectables look obvious when they are over-relaxed or over-filled, and both mistakes are hard to walk back — toxin has to wear off, and dissolving filler is a second procedure. Every plan here is designed and performed by our directors, at the least that delivers the design.

Suitability for toxin, for filler or for neither is decided at your in-person diagnosis, and outcomes vary between individuals.

I've visited clinic for LDM procedure. I don't speak Korean, so there was an interpreter who assisted me while consulting. The staff was very attentive, they asked me every time before applying products/covering my face during the procedure and it went smoothly. Planning to visit the clini…
Had a great experience here as a foreigner! The doctors and staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy. They made recommendations in my consultation and were happy to work within my budget.
I did a hydrofacial, white/black head removal, and 1 day lasers. Really kind staff and reasonable prices. The only thing I would advise is that your first consultation is with a salesperson and you don’t see the doctor until after you decide what you want and after you pay.
Wonderful experience — friendly, professional staff, clear consultation with a thorough skin analysis, and visible results after my treatment; the clinic is clean and communicates aftercare clearly, highly recommended

Choosing between a muscle-relaxing toxin and a volumizing filler is grounded in decades of peer-reviewed clinical literature on each mechanism — neuromodulation of dynamic lines, and hyaluronic-acid restoration of volume and contour. The studies below inform how our directors match a treatment to your concern after your EVE 3D + AI diagnosis.
All references carry verifiable DOIs from indexed journals. None of them can tell you which of the two your own face needs; that is decided at the diagnosis, and individual outcomes differ.
