The clinic was very professional from start to finish. Doctor Jung was excellent and gentle with the treatment. I felt well looked after and everyone was outstanding. Happy with my service!

They are both injectables, but they solve two different problems — one shapes and adds volume, the other rehydrates and rebuilds the skin itself. Here is how a Cheongdam clinic decides between them.
The confusion is reasonable, since both arrive in a syringe and both get filed under "injectables" on a menu. Choosing wrongly is expensive in a specific way: a booster dispersed through the skin over a flat chin does nothing measurable to its projection, and the syringe is spent either way. Your EVE Muse 3D + AI diagnosis reads which of the two deficits you actually have, under five light sources, before any product is named.
Set against each other axis by axis: what the material is, where it goes, when it shows, how long it holds, and whether it can be taken back. On a phone the table scrolls sideways with the row labels pinned.
| Filler | Skin Booster | |
|---|---|---|
| Main goal | Add volume & reshape contour | Rehydrate & rebuild skin quality |
| What it does | Lifts, projects and defines a specific point (chin, nose, cheek, lips) | Spreads finely to improve texture, fine lines, elasticity and glow |
| Typical material | Cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA), firmer gels | PN / PDRN, PDLLA-HA hybrids, non-cross-linked HA, PLLA, CaHA |
| Injection layer | Deep / Mid — placed at a chosen structural depth | Superficial / mid-dermis — micro-droplets across the area |
| Visible change | Immediate shape change on the table | Gradual — skin looks fresher over weeks as collagen forms |
| Best for | Under-projected chin, low nose bridge, hollow cheeks, thin lips | Dull, dehydrated, crepey skin; fine lines; loss of bounce |
| How long it lasts | Months to over a year, by gel, volume and area — your range is quoted in person | Built over a short course, then maintained; the interval is set at review |
| Downtime | Minor swelling / bruising possible, settles in days | Tiny bumps or redness that fade within a day or two |
| Reversible? | HA filler can be dissolved if needed | Not reversible, but effect simply fades over time |
| Can they combine? | Yes | Yes — shape with filler, refine skin with a booster |
This is a general guide. Which HA gel or which booster chemistry suits your skin, and whether you need one, the other or both, is settled at your diagnosis.
A filler is cross-linked hyaluronic acid: the chains are bonded so the gel holds a shape against tissue pressure. Boosters are a mixed shelf with no single chemistry — Rejuran is PDRN, Juvelook pairs PDLLA with HA, Sculptra is PLLA, Radiesse is CaHA, and Skinvive is HA that has been left uncross-linked precisely so it will not hold a shape. The one thing they share is that the visible change comes from what your own skin does around the material.
Filler is placed at a chosen structural depth, deep or mid, often against bone or under a fat compartment where it can support something. A booster is dispersed as micro-droplets through the dermis and a little below it. Same needle, different destination.
Filler is judged in the mirror before you leave, allowing for swelling. A booster shows nothing that day and is judged at review, once the collagen response has had time to happen; patients who expect a same-week glow from a booster are the ones who leave disappointed, which is why the timeline is explained at the consultation and again before you book.
One filler appointment usually stands on its own and is reviewed when it softens. Boosters are built as a short course of sessions and then maintained. Neither interval is printed here, because both depend on the product, the volume and your own metabolism, and a number on a page is a poor substitute for the one your director gives you after examining your skin.
Hyaluronic acid filler can be broken down with hyaluronidase, so an overfilled contour is correctable in a single short appointment. Most boosters have no eraser; PDRN, PLLA and CaHA are worked through by the body over time and cannot be dissolved on request. That asymmetry is the reason a booster plan is written conservatively at the start.
Some faces get sent away from both syringes. If the scan reads descent — an outline that has dropped rather than a surface that has thinned — we do not recommend either injectable, and a lifting protocol is quoted instead. If the concern is pigment, a booster will not touch it and a laser will. And if you are within a few days of a wedding or a flight, we decline the booking and offer a date that leaves room for swelling to settle.
The decision is made in three steps, in this order: read the deficit, pick the chemistry, then set the layer and the dose.
A hollow that needs filling and a surface that has lost its water read differently under the EVE Muse five-light capture: the first moves the shadow map, the second moves the texture and pore analysis. The scan is run before either product is named.
The Chaeum, Belotero, Restylane and Juvederm sit on one side; Rejuran, Juvelook, Sculptra and Radiesse sit on the other. Nothing has to be substituted for a product we do not stock.
Filler is layered across Deep, Mid and Superficial depths with minimum-unit dosing, and on a small zone the gap between a good result and an obvious one can be 0.1 cc in one of those planes. A booster is dispersed the opposite way, as micro-droplets spread so that nothing gathers anywhere, which makes coverage the thing that decides the outcome. Both are performed by our directors.
| Injectable | Unit | Price |
|---|---|---|
| The Chaeum filler | 1 cc | ₩130,000 (≈ $95) |
| Belotero (Germany) filler | 1 cc | ₩300,000 (≈ $215) |
| Juvelook Volume booster | 1 cc | ₩100,000 (≈ $70) |
| Rejuran Healer booster | 2 cc | ₩300,000 (≈ $215) |
| Sculptra collagen booster | 1 vial | ₩1,200,000 (≈ $855) |
Published rates as of September 2026. Specialty zones such as the earlobe, the forehead and the shoulder line carry their own higher rate, since the difficulty sits in the access. Your full plan is approved by you before treatment and nothing is added to it mid-session.
If you arrive asking for filler and the scan reads a skin-quality deficit, the filler is declined and a booster is quoted in its place. The reverse happens too, and more often than people expect: a course of boosters bought for a hollow under the cheek will not raise it, and we would send you to a gel instead.

I've visited clinic for LDM procedure. I don't speak Korean, so there was an interpreter who assisted me while consulting. The staff was very attentive, they asked me every time before applying products/covering my face during the procedure and it went smoothly. Planning to visit the clini…
Had a great experience here as a foreigner! The doctors and staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy. They made recommendations in my consultation and were happy to work within my budget.
I did a hydrofacial, white/black head removal, and 1 day lasers. Really kind staff and reasonable prices. The only thing I would advise is that your first consultation is with a salesperson and you don’t see the doctor until after you decide what you want and after you pay.
Wonderful experience — friendly, professional staff, clear consultation with a thorough skin analysis, and visible results after my treatment; the clinic is clean and communicates aftercare clearly, highly recommended
