Restylane is a premium hyaluronic-acid filler from Galderma, known for firm, well-defined support. At Dear Clinic it isn't a one-size syringe — the right gel is chosen for the area and built layer by layer with our signature technique.
The range gives a director more than one texture to work with: firmer gels where a shape has to be held, more flexible ones where tissue moves with expression. Which box comes off the tray matters less than which plane the gel goes into. Placement is split across Deep, Mid and Superficial layers and weighed to 0.1 cc, so the correction keeps its outline while the area still moves when you talk.
Restylane earns its place where a face needs an edge held: a chin, a jaw border, a bridge. Where a face needs a hollow softened, a smoother gel does the job better, and the 3D read is what tells your director which of the two you are carrying.
The particle gels hold their shape against the pull of the chin muscles, which is why this area is where a firm Restylane earns its place — a short chin brought forward and the jaw border given a definite line.
Tiny amounts, precisely sited, on the midline. A gel that stays put is the whole requirement here; anything that spreads sideways would widen the very bridge it was meant to straighten.
Placed high and deep, a supportive gel props the cheek up from underneath. The light returns to the cheekbone, and the front of the face gains no weight.
These creases sit at the end of a collapsing support column. We rebuild the column above them and treat the crease itself as a last, small step.
Structure is unforgiving: a millimetre too far forward on a chin, or a fraction too much on a nose bridge, is visible from across a room. Our four steps exist to spend that structure deliberately.
Chin projection against the lip line, the run of the jaw border, the profile of the nose, the height at which the cheek sits: these are measured on the EVE Muse scan before any product question is asked. Structural filler works with a bone platform, so the platform is what gets read first.
Galderma's range gives us two different textures to work with: firm particle gels that resist being pushed around, and more flexible formulations that move with expression. The firm side goes deep where the shape is being built; the flexible side finishes nearer the surface so the area still behaves naturally when you talk and smile.
A chin is judged against the lower lip, a bridge against the forehead and tip, a cheek against the fold beneath it. Each correction is re-checked in side view after the deep placement, because structure that is right from the front and wrong from the side is the commonest way this goes astray.
Firm gel leaves a boundary, and a boundary you can see is what makes work look done. The closing pass blends the margin of the new structure into the tissue around it, so the eye reads one continuous line instead of a block with an outline.
Plenty of people arrive asking for a firm gel when what their face is short of is hydration, softness or lift from a device, all of which are stocked in this building. So the scan is free to say so, and the answer is quite often a smoother filler, a booster, or nothing injected at all. Where the projection you want would sit unsupported on the bone you have, we do not recommend Restylane, and the consultation covers what would need to come first.
The EVE Muse 3D scan runs five light sources across your face. It records where support has gone and where it never existed. That map fixes the texture, the depth and the quantity per site. It also fixes which areas are left alone.
The nose, the glabellar midline and the chin are among the least forgiving territories in facial injection: the vessels there are small, the planes sit close to the surface, and an accidental intravascular placement is the mechanism behind the skin necrosis and visual-loss cases described in the literature cited at the foot of this page. All structural work at this clinic is director-performed and built in layers, kept to the smallest quantity the design actually requires, with hyaluronidase held on the premises for the placement that has to be undone.

Published rates as of September 2026. Nothing is added mid-treatment: the areas, the texture and the total cc are written down at diagnosis and signed off by you before the tray is prepared. Placements outside the standard facial sites — earlobe, shoulder line, forehead, hip dip and anterior cheek — carry the specialty-area rate regardless of which gel is used.
The list works the other way as well. If your skin is dehydrated, crepey or slack while the structure underneath is intact, a firm gel hands you a firmer version of the same problem. In that case the diagnosis points at a smoother filler, a booster or a lifting protocol, and the Restylane tray stays shut.
