Is a lipolysis injection worth it?
It is worth it when the complaint is one small, defined pocket that has stayed put while everything else responded to your own effort. What does 40 cc per area actually mean?
It is the treatment unit the clinic prices and plans by: one marked region, treated with a fixed volume distributed across it in a grid. Pricing this way makes the bill checkable, since the areas are drawn on you before the session and nothing outside those borders is treated or charged.
How many sessions will I need?
Enough to see the area change, which varies with the size and depth of the pocket and with how your own tissue responds. Your director gives an estimate at diagnosis and re-reads the area as the course progresses instead of fixing a number in advance. If the area reaches what you wanted sooner, the course stops there.
Does it hurt?
You feel the needle entries and then a spreading warmth or stinging through the area, which fades within minutes of the session ending. Most people call it uncomfortable and brief. Tell your director if any part of the map is markedly more sensitive; comfort measures are discussed before starting.
Is there downtime?
You can return to ordinary plans the same day, but the area itself will be swollen and tender for a while and may bruise, so it is worth timing the first session away from a beach holiday or a fitted dress. Hard exercise and heat are best paused while the swelling is active.
What side effects should I expect?
Local swelling, bruising, tenderness, firmness and temporarily altered sensation over the treated patch are the usual ones and settle as the area recovers. Which areas can be treated?
