The Short Answer

Can I be seen in English?

Yes. Dear Clinic runs English-language consultation and coordination every day it is open, which is all 365 of them. You can send questions before you fly, message us on WhatsApp at +82 10-2820-2681, book without a deposit, and have your diagnosis, your plan and your total explained in English before anything begins. Written replies come back within one business day.

The consultation itself is a medical conversation with the director who will go on to treat you, held in a language you can push back in. Coordination staff handle the booking, the paperwork and the aftercare notes; the examination, the plan and the refusals belong to the doctor.

That matters more in aesthetic medicine than people expect. Almost every decision here — how much filler, which lifting technology, whether to treat at all this trip — depends on you understanding trade-offs and saying what you actually want. If you cannot ask a question in the room, you cannot give informed consent to what happens next.

How It Works

Your consultation, step by step

Four steps from your first message to your aftercare notes — all of them in English, none of them requiring you to guess what was just said.

01

Message us first

Send the consultation form on this page, or write to us on WhatsApp at +82 10-2820-2681, with your travel dates and what is on your mind. A written reply in English follows within one business day, including whether what you are asking about is realistic for your trip.

02

EVE Muse diagnosis

Your visit opens with the EVE Muse 3D scan — three-dimensional imaging with five light sources and AI analysis. It reads pigment, texture, elasticity and vascular tone, and it gives you and the doctor the same picture to talk about.

03

Doctor consultation

A director goes through the scan with you in English: what it shows, what is worth treating on this trip, and what we do not recommend at all. Bruising, swelling and how many days each one lasts are named at this point in the visit, before you have paid for anything. The itemised total is on the table before you agree to anything.

04

Treatment and aftercare

If you decide to go ahead, the treatment is performed by that same director, usually on the same day. Aftercare instructions are given in English, and you can message afterwards from home if something worries you.

Nothing in that sequence is skipped for international patients. A three-day trip does not shorten the diagnosis, and a consultation held in English is still held by the doctor who performs the treatment.

What to expect on your first visit

Three worries turn up in almost every message we get from abroad: the price moving at the counter, leaving with more treatment than you came for, and nobody explaining what is being done to your face. Each one has a procedure attached to it.

Bring a passport or ID. No deposit is required to reserve, and no payment is taken before the consultation.
Tell us your medication, allergies, and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding — this is asked before any treatment, every time.
A first visit is booked as one slot covering the scan, the consultation and, where it is suitable, the treatment. Tell us the window you have and we confirm the length when we book it.
Your plan is itemised and the total is confirmed before treatment. Nothing is added at the counter afterwards.
If a treatment would suit you better on a later trip, we will decline it for today and write it into a plan you can bring back.

Walk-ins are welcome, but weekends and holidays fill up, so a booked slot means little or no wait — and it gives the team time to prepare English coordination for your visit.

Dear, Knowhow

Why patients from abroad choose Dear

English gets the conversation started. Three things decide what actually happens inside it.

01 — THE FULL ARSENAL

Every category sits in the building

Lifting, fillers, boosters, pigment lasers and body treatments are all in-house across the fifth and seventh floors. No single machine has to earn its keep out of your plan, so “come back next trip” and “you do not need this” cost us nothing to say.

02 — DIAGNOSIS FIRST

The scan comes before the quote

Every plan starts from the EVE Muse scan: 3D imaging, five light sources, AI analysis. The images are on the screen in front of both of you, which means every line on the quote can be traced back to something visible — a pigment pattern, a slack area, a vascular flush — and anything that cannot be traced back does not go on the quote.

03 — DIRECTOR-PERFORMED

The doctor who advises you treats you

Consultation and treatment are director-performed at Dear, so the doctor who answers your questions in English is the one who marks your face and treats it. Nobody re-explains the plan in between.

Hours & Location

Open when your trip allows

Weekdays 10:00–19:00, weekends and public holidays 10:00–16:00, with no lunch closure — 365 days a year.

EVERY DAY

Sundays and holidays too

If your only free day is a Sunday or a Korean public holiday, that is a normal working day here: weekend and holiday hours run 10:00 to 16:00, and the English coordination runs on those days too. The full year-round schedule is on our 365-day opening page.

CHEONGDAM

Namhangang Building, 5F & 7F

85-3 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu — the Cheongdam and Apgujeong Rodeo area, easily folded into a day already spent shopping. Directions and the building entrance are sent when your booking is confirmed.

NO WAITING GAME

No lunch closure

The front desk and treatment rooms run straight through the day, so a midday slot is a real slot. If the only gap in your day sits between two other plans, that gap is bookable.

Paying at Dear

What will it cost, and how do I pay?

Dear Clinic publishes one price list and applies it to everyone — there is no separate foreigner price and no weekend or holiday surcharge. Korean won is what you actually pay; the USD figures shown beside prices on this site are an approximate reference for orientation only. Card payment is accepted at the clinic, and your itemised plan and total are confirmed before treatment begins.
The full published list is on our price list page, and it is the same list your quote is built from.
Most plans combine several units, so your quote is itemised from listed prices after the diagnosis.
Featured program prices may exclude VAT where the banner states so; ask and we will confirm the final figure in writing.
Nothing is charged that you have not seen and approved. If the plan changes on the day, the price is re-agreed first.

If you want an indicative figure before you fly, send your interests and travel dates through the form and we will reply in English with a plan built from the published list. The exact quote is finalised after the in-person scan, because a number given before anyone has looked at your skin is a guess.

Before You Come

A few things worth knowing in advance

Bring a list of any medication you take and any allergy history — including supplements, which patients often forget to mention.
Tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or taking anticoagulants; several treatments are not appropriate and we will plan around that.
Plan treatments early in a trip rather than the night before a flight, so there is time for a follow-up message if anything is unclear.
Avoid alcohol immediately before and after most treatments, and expect to skip saunas and jjimjilbang for a few days afterwards.
If anything feels wrong after you get home, message us. Aftercare follow-up does not stop at the airport.

FAQ

Visiting Dear in English, answered

Is Dear Clinic really an English-speaking clinic?
Yes. English consultation and coordination run on every day the clinic is open. Write before you travel and a written English reply follows within one business day; at the visit, the scan findings, the plan and the total are explained in English while you can still change your mind about them.
Can I message you on WhatsApp, and do I need Korean to book?
WhatsApp +82 10-2820-2681 is the simplest route from abroad, and the consultation form on this page reaches the same desk. No Korean is needed at any point, and neither is a Korean phone number or a resident registration number. Send a name, your travel dates and a preferred time; no deposit is taken to hold the slot.
Will the doctor speak English, or only the coordinator?
The consultation is with a director. Coordination support sits alongside it for booking, forms and aftercare notes, but the person who examines your skin, explains the trade-offs and performs the treatment is the doctor — that is what director-performed means here, and it is the reason the English matters in the room and not only at the desk.
What happens at the first visit?
It opens with the EVE Muse 3D scan: three-dimensional imaging under five light sources with AI analysis. A director then reviews the images with you, says what is worth treating on this trip and what is not, and confirms an itemised total. If a treatment suits you and you agree to plan and price, it can usually follow the same day.
What does it cost, and how do I pay?
One published price list applies to everyone. There is no separate foreigner price, no weekend surcharge and no public holiday surcharge. Korean won is what you actually pay; USD figures on this site are an approximate reference for orientation. Card payment is accepted at the clinic, no deposit is taken to reserve, and the itemised total is confirmed before treatment starts.
Are you open on Sundays and Korean public holidays?
Yes. Weekdays run 10:00 to 19:00, weekends and public holidays 10:00 to 16:00, and there is no lunch closure, so a midday appointment is a real appointment. For a visitor whose only free day falls on a national holiday, that is often what decides where the booking goes.
Where exactly is the clinic, and how do I find the floor?
Namhangang Building, 85-3 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul — fifth and seventh floors, in the Cheongdam and Apgujeong Rodeo area. Directions and the building entrance are sent when your booking is confirmed, so you are not standing in a lobby reading a Korean floor board.
Will I be pushed into buying more than I came for?
Every category of device is already in the building, so no machine needs your booking to justify itself. The doctor who advises you is the doctor who treats you, which removes the handover where plans usually grow. If a smaller plan is the right one, that is what goes on the sheet you approve.
Can I have a treatment on the same day as my consultation?
Usually, if the director confirms it suits you. Energy lifting, single-area filler and toxin are the ones that fit a single visit most easily; courses and sequenced combinations are better staged, and we say so before you pay. Our same-day treatment page sets out which is which.
What should I bring, and what should I tell us before treatment?
Bring a passport or ID and a list of your current medication, supplements and any allergy history. Tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or taking anticoagulants. These questions are asked before every treatment because complete answers change what can safely be recommended, and an incomplete one changes what can safely be done.
Is the same information available in Spanish?
The site is published in Spanish as well, including the Spanish edition of this page. Tell us in your first message which language you would like your consultation held in and we will confirm what we can arrange for your date before you book anything.
What if something worries me after I fly home?
Message us. Aftercare instructions are given in English before you leave, and follow-up does not end at the airport — describe what you are seeing and when it started, and we will tell you whether it is expected, what to do about it, and at what point you should see a doctor where you are.
