Is CureJet worth it?
It is worth it as part of a plan for tethered, indented scarring and for deep lesions that will not surface. It is not worth it as a one-off purchase expected to resurface a whole face, and it is the wrong tool if what you actually have is leftover pigment or redness. The scan sorts that out before you spend anything.
Is CureJet an injection?
Not in the usual sense. It is a needle-free jet injector: a very fine pressurised stream passes through the skin surface, and no needle is threaded through it. That is why it feels different from a syringe-based treatment, and why the published literature studies jet delivery separately from needle injection.
How much does CureJet cost in Seoul?
A full-face session at Dear Clinic in Cheongdam is ₩500,000 (≈ $355), which includes mapping, the jet work planned for that visit, your EVE 3D diagnosis, the doctor consultation and aftercare guidance. Where a plan layers other treatments, each is priced from the same published list and totalled before you agree.
What exactly is delivered during the session?
That is decided at consultation, and deliberately not published as a fixed recipe. What suits actively inflamed skin, structurally scarred skin and post-inflammatory marks differs, and the choice belongs to a director who has read your scan. Ask at diagnosis and you will get a specific answer for your own plan.
How many sessions will I need?
Set at consultation. Scar programmes are layered, so each visit differs from the last, and the count depends on scar depth, how established the scarring is and how your skin responds to the first visit. The plan is revised at review, and you are not committed in advance to a session number chosen before anyone has seen how your skin answers.
Does it hurt?
There is a sharp, brief tapping sensation at each point, and topical numbing is applied and given proper time beforehand. Most people find the absence of a needle passing through the skin makes the session easier to tolerate than they had expected. Tell your director during treatment and the pressure is adjusted.
What is the downtime?
Typically a few days of redness, mild swelling and sometimes pinpoint bruising, more noticeable where pressure was worked hardest. Many people plan a session before a quieter weekend. We advise on makeup timing at the end of your appointment based on how your skin has actually reacted.
Will it get rid of my acne scars?
No treatment we offer erases established scarring, and we will not tell you otherwise. Realistic aims are softer scar margins, a more even surface and a face that photographs better in ordinary light. Deep, long-standing, fibrotic scars improve partially and slowly, and that is the framing your plan starts from.
CureJet or microneedling — which one do I need?
Often both, in sequence. Jet delivery is used in our protocol for release and repair at the base of a tethered scar; microneedling and resurfacing address texture and the surface layer. Because every route is in-house, the order is set by your diagnosis.
Can it be combined with other treatments in one visit?
Frequently, yes — layered protocols are the norm for scarring, and combinations are planned so that deep, mid and surface work fall in a sensible order. What can be safely combined on the same day depends on your skin's condition that day, and your director decides it in front of you.
Can jet work start at the first appointment?
Usually yes. Diagnosis and consultation happen in the same visit, and if your director confirms suitability and numbing time allows, the first session can follow. Because the clinic is open 365 days a year, weekend and holiday appointments are available, which matters when a layered plan has to fit a short trip.
