CureJet is a needle-free jet injector. Instead of passing a needle through the skin, it drives a very fine, pressurised stream through the surface. At Dear Clinic it is used inside acne and scar plans; it is not sold as a treatment that answers a face on its own, and which solution is delivered is decided at your consultation.
Two things follow from the jet mechanism. The first is a matter of comfort and coverage: nothing is threaded through the dermis, so a broad area can be worked without a series of needle passes. The second is mechanical — a pressurised stream behaves differently at the point it lands than a needle tip does, which is why jet delivery is studied separately from needle injection in the published literature.
Our directors use it for two defined jobs. In deep pustular and cystic lesions whose contents are difficult to express, it acts as a pressure-based aid to clearing them. At tethered, indented scars, the clinic's protocol describes a micro-subcision effect at the scar base together with maximised collagen generation, and that combination is the reason the jet is placed inside a layered scar programme with laser and microneedling work around it.
Indented scarring is structural. Established scars answer partially and slowly, so what you are offered is a plan of several visits with the goals written down, and those goals are set at diagnosis, before the first session is booked.
Delivery happens through a pressurised stream, with no needle track left behind it. For anxious patients and for broad fields, that changes the experience of the appointment more than any other single factor.
Dear's own scar protocol runs jet delivery alongside pico laser work, fractional laser resurfacing, Potenza microneedling and a collagen booster. Plenty of scar plans written here never reach the jet at all.
Some consultations end without a session. Active acne is treated first; scar work on inflamed skin wastes visits. If the scan shows pigment or leftover redness where you expected a structural dent, we do not recommend jet work for it, and a vascular or toning route is quoted instead, which usually costs less. We also decline over an active skin infection, during pregnancy, on an uncleared bleeding or clotting disorder, and where a keloid tendency makes a raised scar the likelier outcome. Scar programmes are where expectations need managing most carefully. If your scarring is deep, fibrotic and long-established, your director will describe what a realistic degree of improvement looks like on your own face, and where a plan of ours is unlikely to satisfy you, you will be told that at the same appointment. Outcomes vary by individual, by scar type and by how long the scarring has been established. Nothing here is offered as a uniform or assured result.
Scan, layer plan, comfort, jet work, aftercare — in that order, every visit. Scar depth, the texture of the skin immediately around it, residual inflammation and leftover pigment are separated on the EVE Muse 3D scan with five-light-source analysis before the layer plan is drawn, because treating those four as one problem is the usual way a scar programme runs long and returns little.
Your skin is read on the EVE Muse 3D scan and scars are assessed by depth and tethering under directional light, because a scar that looks flat straight on can be quite different in profile.
The layer plan, the session count and the total are agreed with you, then comfort measures are confirmed at consultation.
The handpiece is worked across the planned points, with pressure and pattern set by your director for each zone and adjusted as the skin responds during the session.
Cooling and barrier care close the appointment, aftercare is set out, and the next step in the layered plan is scheduled only if the response supports it.

Faces rarely present one scar type. A single cheek can carry a shallow, wide depression next to a narrow, deeply tethered one, and the two want opposite handling. That is why the plan is written zone by zone with an order of operations, and why this page cannot tell you in advance how your own face will be treated.
