Face Lifting in Cheongdam, Gangnam, Seoul

A face does not slacken evenly. Upper third, mid-face, lower third and the neck border each loosen on their own clock, so a whole-face plan is four smaller decisions quoted on one sheet.

Definition

What a whole-face lifting plan means here, once four zones are graded together

Face lifting at Dear Clinic is a written sequence of non-surgical sessions covering the upper face, mid-face, lower face and the border into the neck. Focused ultrasound, monopolar radiofrequency, microwave energy, multi-wavelength passes and mechanical threads are the five kinds of physics available. Each zone is graded on its own; each line is quoted on its own.

The word face flatters the reality. A dropped brow and a blurred jaw border are separate findings at separate depths, and filing them under one word is how a budget ends up spread so thinly that no zone gets a full dose.

Two neighbouring pages carry narrower questions: the lifting and tightening category page catalogues each platform on its own, and the jowl page takes the finding most often mistaken for whole-face slackening.

Four zones captured in one sitting, so the grading arrives as a comparison and never as four opinions.
The Zone Map

The four zones a face lifting plan is written across, and what changes in each

Every plan here begins as four separate grades. What you buy is the order in which they are answered.

ZONE 01

Upper face — brow, temple and the hollow beside the eye

The first zone to change on most faces and the last one people name. A brow settling toward the lash line, a temple losing its convexity: the eye reads both as tiredness. Focused ultrasound at shallower settings is the usual answer, in small shot counts placed carefully around the rim.

ZONE 02

Mid-face — the cheek mass and the shadow above the smile line

The zone that carries most of the face's light. When the cheek mass sits lower, the shadow above the smile line lengthens and the mid-face reads heavier. Depth matters more here than energy quantity, and where the finding is lost structure the answer sits on the cheek volume page instead.

ZONE 03

Lower face — jaw border, chin margin and the tissue above them

The zone people photograph and dislike. Definition along the mandibular border is partly skin quality, partly deep support, partly soft fullness sitting over the line. Three physics answer those three findings, so this zone often takes two lines where the others take one.

ZONE 04

The neck border — where a face plan either continues or stops

A treated lower face beside an untouched upper neck can read as a mismatch in profile. Whether your plan crosses that border is decided at the consultation and priced as extra coverage on whichever line carries it. It is never assumed and never folded silently into a face quote.

Most faces grade badly in one zone and moderately in two. That distribution builds the sequence: worst zone at a full dose first, moderate zones scheduled against a review date, the fourth left alone.

Zone To Line

Which published lifting line reaches which zone, and at what depth it works

Seven lines, five kinds of physics, one rate card.

Seven lines, four zones, no obligation to use more than one. The whole card sits on the published price list, and first-time visitors usually find the lifting guide a gentler entry than this table.

Sequencing

How a whole-face sequence is ordered and quoted line by line

Nothing here is sold as a bundle. Each line keeps its published rate and the sequence is a calendar written around them.

STEP 01

The worst-graded zone takes the first full dose

The lowest-scoring zone is treated first, at the unit count the reading calls for. Quartering a budget across four zones on day one buys four underdosed fields and no information about which zone was worth the money.

STEP 02

Every added line is quoted at its own published rate

Ultrasound in the mid-face plus a microwave session at the neck border is two purchases with two rates on one sheet, agreed before a consumable is opened. No whole-face package price exists and no discount tier attaches to taking more lines.

STEP 03

The review date decides zones three and four

Heat-driven change builds over weeks. Booking zones two and three on the day of the first is buying blind, so your director writes a review date into the plan and the remaining lines are confirmed there.

No figure for how many months a whole-face result holds is published here. Duration turns on age, skin thickness, sun history, weight change and how collagen answers heat, and those variables interact differently per zone. Your director gives a conservative expectation, a review date, and the unit rate for whatever follows.

The Boundary

When a face is better served by surgery than by anything on this floor

Dear Clinic is a non-surgical practice. Surgical facelifting is outside our scope, and saying so early saves a wasted appointment.

Skin that gathers into a fold and stays there. If loose tissue lifts between two fingers and holds its new position when released, the excess is mechanical. No energy platform removes tissue and we do not recommend one; that reading belongs to a plastic surgeon.
A neck band that stands out when you speak. Vertical banding from the platysma muscle is a muscular finding at the neck border. Heat placed over it does not change what the muscle does, and you are told at the consultation that this needs a different specialty.
Heaviness that returns within weeks of every session. Where two properly dosed courses have been given and the zone resets almost immediately, the ceiling of non-surgical work has been reached. We say so and decline a third course.
An expectation shaped by surgical photographs. Energy and threads shift a graded finding by degrees. Where the picture in your head is a surgical result, no shot count closes that gap.

The reverse case is commoner: people arrive braced for surgery when one zone grades badly and the other three are fine. One properly dosed line there is often the whole answer.

All photos are unretouched before/after cases of the same person under the same conditions, treated at Dear Clinic and shown with consent. Individual results may vary; no specific outcome is implied or promised.

Each image is labelled with the treatment it received and nothing else. Two cases are two cases and not a sample size; both appear because they represent the two families a whole-face plan draws from. Read them with chin height and lens distance matched, since a few centimetres of chin lift sharpens a lower face on its own.

Dear, Knowhow

Why a four-zone lifting plan is assembled differently at Dear

01 — THE FULL ARSENAL

Five kinds of physics for four zones, on two floors

Imaging-guided ultrasound, an accessible ultrasound tier, monopolar radiofrequency in two systems, microwave energy, multi-wavelength passes and a thread tray sit across 5F and 7F, beside the injectable lines that answer what heat cannot. No console carries a quota, so a plan treating one zone and leaving three alone costs us nothing to write.

02 — DIAGNOSIS FIRST

Four zone grades before any line is named

EVE Muse captures the face in 3D under five light sources with AI analysis, and the director grades the four zones against each other in one sitting. Zones, then depths, then lines.

03 — DIRECTOR-PERFORMED

One pair of hands carries the plan across all four zones

Crossing zones is where technique matters most: transducer pressure changes at the orbital rim, a pass stacked twice over one spot is how a burn happens, and a mid-face thread vector has to agree with the energy placed below it. Your sessions are director-performed by the doctor who graded your scan, and that doctor takes the review.

Pricing

How much a whole-face lifting plan
costs in Cheongdam

A face lifting plan is priced as the sum of the lines it actually uses. The mildest entry is a ₩600,000 (≈ $430) multi-wavelength pass at 40 kJ; the accessible ultrasound tier is ₩150,000 (≈ $105) for 300 shots; imaging-guided ultrasound runs from ₩400,000 (≈ $285) per 100 shots; radiofrequency starts at ₩700,000 (≈ $500) for 300 shots and reaches ₩1,900,000 (≈ $1,355) for a full 600-shot tip. A microwave session at 60 kJ is ₩500,000 (≈ $355) and threads are ₩100,000 (≈ $70) each.

Those figures measure different things, which is why whole-face quotes get misread. A block of ultrasound shots, a sealed consumable tip, an energy budget in kilojoules and a single thread are four kinds of purchase, comparable only once the unit is written beside them. Your own total moves with how many zones the plan covers and how much of each is treated.

International visitors pay the same published figures as Korean patients, with no surcharge. Consultation and aftercare arrangements are explained at your appointment. No whole-face package rate exists here, so a four-zone plan and a one-zone plan are quoted from the same card.

If your grading says three zones can be left alone this year, that is the plan you leave with, and it costs us three bookings.

Caution

Recovery across a whole-face plan, and the risk each zone carries

Upper face. Tenderness around the brow and temple after focused ultrasound, occasionally small raised welts that settle within the hour. The orbital rim is close, so placement stays deliberately conservative; a burn is the named risk where it does not.
Mid-face. Warmth and tightness across the cheek for some days after radiofrequency, a dull ache after ultrasound. Where threads were placed, expect dimpling at the entry points for several days, bruising, and asymmetry that needs reviewing if it persists.
Lower face. An ache on chewing after deep ultrasound, redness fading within hours after radiofrequency, firmness or tenderness after a microwave session. Temporary numbness along the jaw can occur and resolves. Less commonly a tender nodule, a bruise, or a small burn where heat concentrated.
Neck border. Thinner skin that flushes more readily, so the zone is treated at lower settings and reviewed more carefully. Swelling tracking downward over a day or two is common here.
Common to every zone. Saunas, hot yoga and alcohol wait a few days, sunscreen is daily, and makeup returns once the flush has gone. Comfort measures during the session are confirmed at your consultation. Lasting pain, spreading swelling, blistering, colour change or numbness that does not resolve means contacting the clinic immediately, ahead of the review.

Tell your director about implanted electronic devices, metal in any field, previous threads or filler per zone, neuromuscular conditions, keloid history, pregnancy and breastfeeding. Several change which line a zone receives; one or two rule a session out.

FAQ

Face lifting in Cheongdam, answered zone by zone

What does non-surgical face lifting actually change across a whole face?
It works on the skin and soft tissue of four graded zones so that the upper face, mid-face, lower face and neck border agree with each other again. Heat contracts and rebuilds collagen at a chosen depth, microwave energy addresses water-rich fullness, and threads reposition tissue along a drawn vector. Change is measured from your own starting grade.
Do I have to treat all four zones at once?
No, and most plans do not. The four grades exist so the worst zone can be found and given a full dose first. A plan treating one zone properly is a common outcome of a first consultation; the rest are reconsidered at the review date.
How much does a face lifting plan cost in Cheongdam, Gangnam
Each line keeps its published rate and the plan is their sum. The mild multi-wavelength pass is ₩600,000 (≈ $430) at 40 kJ, the accessible ultrasound tier ₩150,000 (≈ $105) for 300 shots, imaging-guided ultrasound ₩400,000 (≈ $285) per 100 shots, radiofrequency ₩700,000 (≈ $500) for 300 shots or ₩1,900,000 (≈ $1,355) for a 600-shot tip, microwave ₩500,000 (≈ $355) at 60 kJ, and threads ₩100,000 (≈ $70) each.
Is there a package price for treating the whole face
There is no whole-face package rate on our card. A four-zone plan and a single-zone plan are quoted from the same published lines, with no tier or discount for taking more of them. Your total is the arithmetic of the lines you agreed to.
Which zone should be treated first if my budget only covers one
Whichever of the four graded worst on the scan, at the unit count the reading calls for. Splitting a single-line budget across two zones is the commonest way a first energy session does very little.
Can threads and an energy line be combined in one face plan?
Sometimes, and it is a clinical decision and not a menu choice. Threads move tissue on the day along a mapped vector while heat works on the collagen around it, so the vector and the energy field have to be sequenced to agree. Your director decides whether they share a visit.
Is Ultherapy Prime or Shurink Universe the right ultrasound tier for a whole face?
They answer different plans. Ultherapy Prime places energy at 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm with visualisation to 8 mm beforehand, which suits a zone where the deep layer is the problem. Shurink Universe is dosed in 300-shot sessions and suits broad coverage. Both are stocked, and the grading picks.
Does the plan include my neck?
Only if your director says the border needs it and you agree to the extra coverage, priced on whichever line carries it. A treated lower face above an untouched upper neck can read as a mismatch in profile, so the question is raised at the consultation.
What are the risks of treating several facial zones in one appointment?
Stacking heat across a wide field raises the burn risk, and zones tolerate different settings, which is why the upper face and the neck border are treated more conservatively. Redness, warmth, tenderness and temporary numbness are the common effects. A burn or blister is the named risk on every heat platform, and threads add bruising, dimpling at entry points and possible asymmetry.
When is surgery the better answer for a sagging face?
When loose skin gathers into a standing fold, when vertical neck bands are the main complaint, or when two properly dosed non-surgical courses have already reset within weeks. Dear Clinic is a non-surgical practice and surgical facelifting is outside our scope, so you are told that at the consultation.
How soon can a second zone be treated after the first?
The interval is written into your plan at the first visit and is not a fixed number here, because heat-driven change builds over weeks and reads differently in each zone. The second line is confirmed at the review, with the doctor who graded the original scan.
I have four days in Seoul. Can a face lifting plan fit?
The EVE Muse grading, the consultation and one energy line usually fit into a single appointment once suitability is confirmed, and the review can be done remotely. We open 10:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 16:00 at weekends and public holidays, 365 days. Send your dates and we reply in English as soon as possible.
