How long do Botox results last on forehead? Answered from Cheongdam, Gangnam, Seoul

Temporarily, and for a span Dear Clinic does not publish as a promise. No duration claim is printed on this page for any tier. What can be described is the set of variables that governs it on a forehead specifically, and your director gives you the expectation from your own examination. Wrinkle areas are listed from ₩30,000 each.

The Short Answer

Why Dear Clinic publishes no month figure for a treated forehead

Botulinum toxin type A blocks the chemical signal reaching a muscle, and the block is temporary in every case. On a forehead the muscle in question is the frontalis, a broad sheet that lifts your brows dozens of times an hour. As signalling comes back, the sheet resumes lifting, and the horizontal lines it prints begin to reappear. When that happens for you is not a number anybody can read off a web page.

Clinics publish spans anyway because a figure is easier to sell than a range of variables. The figures in circulation are averages pooled from trial populations given particular quantities of particular products, and an average tells one individual very little. It also creates a grievance: somebody whose brow was deliberately treated lightly reads a published span, finds their own experience shorter, and concludes that something went wrong when nothing did.

What this page can do is describe the machinery. The variables that set the length of a forehead result, how the fade actually presents in a mirror, how a repeat visit is timed here, and what the areas are listed at. The mechanism of the treatment itself, the dosing philosophy and the brow-safety reasoning sit on the wrinkle toxin page and across the toxin guide.

What Governs It

Five variables that set how long a forehead result holds and none of them are the same for two people

Three of these were decided before you walked in. Two are settled at the appointment itself.

VariableWhich way it pushesWhy the frontalis behaves that way
Strength of your frontalisA powerful sheet shortens itA brow lifter that is thick and habitually active pushes back against the same quantity of product harder than a quiet one does. It is read by watching you raise your brows and by feeling the muscle while you do it.
Dose disciplineRestraint can shorten it, deliberatelyA forehead is the one area where treating heavily creates its own problem, because the frontalis is the only muscle holding your brows up. A plan written to protect brow position may read as fading earlier, and that is a trade accepted on purpose.
Your metabolismBoth waysHow quickly an individual clears the effect varies and cannot be measured in advance. It is one reason two people on identical plans describe different experiences without either of them being mistreated.
Prior treatment historyBoth waysA forehead treated regularly over years often behaves differently from one being treated for the first time, and a long gap since the last appointment changes the starting point again. What you have had before is genuinely useful information to bring.
Expression habitsHeavy use shortens itBrow-raising is a habit as much as an anatomy. People who talk with their eyebrows, who squint into the sun, or who lift the brows to compensate for heavy upper lids are working the sheet continuously, and it recovers under that load.

Two of these are worth raising unprompted at your consultation. If you know you lift your brows constantly, say so. If you have had a forehead treated before and noticed how it wore off, describe that; your own previous pattern is the best single predictor available, and it beats any average from a study population.

How The Fade Reads

What a forehead actually does as the treatment wears off

Nothing switches off. Three things come back in sequence, and knowing the order stops people booking too early.

FIRST

Movement returns at the edges

Feeling comes back unevenly across a broad sheet, and the outer parts of the forehead usually animate before the centre. A faint asymmetry during this stage is ordinary and is a picture of an effect receding, not of a plan that failed.

THEN

Lines print on animation again

The horizontal lines reappear first when you raise your brows and only later when your face is still. This is the point at which most people decide they are due, and it is exactly the point at which a photograph is more reliable than a mirror.

THROUGHOUT

The crease that never left

Any part of a forehead line that was etched into the skin itself was visible at rest the whole time, because relaxing a muscle does not remove a crease the skin has learned. Reading that component as the treatment wearing off is the commonest misjudgement in this area.

The distinction in the third card decides what gets prescribed next. A still-visible crease is a skin problem and belongs to resurfacing or to the injectables that work in the dermis; adding more product to the muscle underneath it buys nothing and risks a heavy brow. Your director separates the two on the capture before offering either.

Maintenance

How a repeat forehead appointment is timed without a date written in advance

Nothing here is pre-sold as a course, so every forehead appointment is a fresh decision with a fresh figure and stopping leaves nothing owed
The trigger is examination: what your brows do when you raise them, and what the lines look like at rest, compared against the capture from last time
Photograph yourself raising your brows in the same light every few weeks, because gradual return is invisible to somebody who sees the face daily
Expect a top-up requested very soon after the last one to be declined, since repeated product into a frontalis that has not recovered is how a brow ends up heavy
Tell your director how the previous plan wore off, because that single piece of history is what a second plan is adjusted against

Chasing an unbroken forehead is the wrong target anyway. A face that never moves above the eyes reads as absent in conversation, and the plan we write is one that lets the brows work while softening what they print. That is a standing preference here and it shapes how often a repeat is genuinely due.

Listed Rates

What a repeat forehead area is listed at on each published tier

A wrinkle area is published at ₩30,000 (≈ $20) on the Korean tier and ₩150,000 (≈ $105) on the imported one. A forehead counts as one area. The same figures apply whether it is your first appointment or your fifth, because sessions here are settled one at a time and nothing is bundled into a package that assumes a return date.
TierWhat one area coversPer area
KoreanA domestically manufactured botulinum toxin type A, mapped across the forehead as a single treated area₩30,000 (≈ $20)
ImportedAn imported premium-tier type A product, the same mapping and the same appointment, where a patient prefers it₩150,000 (≈ $105)

Neither tier carries a published duration claim at this clinic, and anybody telling you the imported line reliably outlasts the Korean one for your particular forehead is guessing. Korean pharmaceutical advertising rules keep prescription product names off public pages, which is why the rows read as tiers; your director names the product and shows you the vial before it is drawn. Visitors and residents are quoted from the same list. Every published figure sits on the price list, with the area-by-area breakdown on the toxin price page.

Limits And Risks

When buying a longer forehead result is the wrong thing to ask for

Two requests are refused here regularly and both are attempts to purchase duration. We do not recommend a heavier first quantity on the theory that it should hold out longer, because the frontalis is the only muscle keeping your brows up and a forehead relaxed past the point it can carry drops the brow and hoods the upper lid; the correction for that is waiting it out. And we do not recommend bringing a repeat forward when the lines have returned only on animation while the brow is still sitting low from the last plan.

The risks do not change with repetition. Bruising at an entry point and a short-lived headache are the ordinary minor ones. An uneven map leaves the two sides recovering at different rates and one brow arching higher than the other, which is the most common thing a review evens up. Product migrating toward the upper eyelid can leave a heavy lid for several weeks until it wears off. A brow that sits lower than it did is the specific risk of over-treating this area, and it is discussed before consent rather than after. Results vary between individuals and are assessed on your own examination.

Tell your director about any neuromuscular condition, about blood-thinning medication or supplements, and about pregnancy or breastfeeding, since any of those changes what is offered. Where the reading says your lines are skin creases with very little muscle behind them, we say so and point you at resurfacing or at forehead filler, and the question of what a toxin plan can do for sagging is covered on the jowls and sagging page.

Dear, Knowhow

How the forehead duration question is handled at Dear

01 — PRICED BY THE VISIT

No package assumes you will be back

Each area is settled on the day it is treated, so a maintenance rhythm stays a decision instead of a subscription.

02 — DIAGNOSIS FIRST

EVE Muse 3D + AI records the brow, not only the lines

Three-dimensional imaging under five light sources with AI analysis captures brow height and the lines at rest and on movement, and that stored capture is what your next visit is compared against. Timing a repeat from a measurement of brow position is a different exercise from counting weeks since the last appointment, and it is the one that protects the brow.

03 — DIRECTOR-PERFORMED

The same hands watch the sheet and mark it

Your director watches you raise your brows, feels where the sheet is strongest, and marks the points while the muscle is working. The injections are performed by your director as well. Judging how much movement has genuinely come back is a bedside assessment and it is not something a reminder in a calendar can approximate.

FAQ

Forehead toxin duration, question by question

How long do Botox results last on forehead?
Temporarily, and this clinic publishes no month figure for it. The block on signalling to the frontalis recedes, brow movement returns, and the horizontal lines reappear on animation before they reappear at rest. Your own span depends on how strong that muscle is, how conservatively it was treated, how quickly you clear the effect, what you have had before and how much you use your brows. Your director gives you the expectation from your own examination.
Why will you not print a number of months like other pages do?
Because a published span is an average pooled from trial populations on particular quantities of particular products, and it predicts almost nothing about one specific forehead. Printing it would also set up a false disappointment for anybody whose brow needed a deliberately light plan. We would rather describe the variables and then give you a figure drawn from your own face, which is revised at the review.
Does it stop all at once or fade gradually?
Gradually, and unevenly across a broad muscle. The outer forehead usually animates before the centre, so a brief asymmetry while it recedes is ordinary. Lines return on brow-raising first and at rest later, which is why a photograph taken in the same light is a better guide than the impression you get from a mirror on a particular morning.
Would a bigger quantity make it last longer on my forehead?
It is the one area where that trade is genuinely dangerous to make. The frontalis is the only muscle holding your brows up, so relaxing it past what your brow can carry drops the brow and can hood the upper lid, and waiting is the only correction. We do not recommend buying duration that way, and a first plan here is written to be added to at a review instead.
Does the imported tier last longer than the Korean tier?
This clinic publishes no duration claim for either tier, so no comparison of that kind is made here. They are different products at different listed rates and the mapping, the appointment and the aftercare are identical on both. Which one suits you is a conversation with your director, who names the product and shows you the vial before it is drawn.
My forehead lines are still visible when my face is completely still. Is the treatment wearing off?
Probably not. A line etched into the skin itself was there at rest the whole time, because relaxing the muscle underneath does not erase a crease the skin has already learned. That component belongs to resurfacing or to what can be done in the dermis, and adding more product to the muscle buys nothing while risking a heavy brow.
Does treating my forehead regularly mean it will eventually last longer?
Some patients report that impression from their own history, and we take it seriously as history without promising it to anybody in advance. What is certain is that a forehead treated regularly over years behaves differently from one being treated for the first time, which is why what you have had before is asked about at every visit.
When should I book my next forehead appointment?
When the examination says so. That means your brows, your lines at rest and the comparison against the stored capture, and not a date generated from the last visit. Lines showing on animation while the brow is still sitting low from the previous plan is a common reason we ask you to wait, because product into a muscle that has not recovered is how a brow ends up heavy.
What happens if I stop treating my forehead altogether?
The frontalis recovers its full strength and prints its lines as it did before. Nothing deteriorates past the point you started from and there is no rebound to a worse forehead. Stopping is a legitimate outcome and it gets discussed openly, particularly where the reading suggests the visible component was always skin rather than muscle.
Does a man's forehead usually hold the result for a different span?
Male brow-lifting muscles are commonly stronger and the plans are written accordingly, but this clinic still publishes no span for anybody. The relevant reading is done in the room: how the sheet behaves when you lift, where it is strongest, and how low the brow already sits. Men are treated here routinely and the framework on this page applies unchanged.
How much is a maintenance forehead session, and can I have it the day I come in?
The same as a first one: ₩30,000 (≈ $20) per area on the Korean tier and ₩150,000 (≈ $105) on the imported tier, with the forehead counted as one area. Same-day treatment is usually possible once the examination is done and the figure approved by you, and Dear Clinic is open 365 days a year including Sundays and public holidays. Where the examination says it is too early, we say so and show you the comparison.

No paper in this list reports how long one person's forehead holds a change, and none is offered here as the source of a duration figure, because this page publishes none. They are listed for the mechanism and the product science underneath the answer above.
