Definition

What people mean by a non-surgical nose job

The phrase describes an injectable procedure: cross-linked hyaluronic acid deposited in small increments along the bridge, at the radix and around the tip, to alter the profile line of the nose. It adds material; no bone is cut and no cartilage is removed. Treatment takes place in a consulting room, and the gel can be dissolved afterwards.

Searches for a nose job usually carry surgical expectations, so it is worth separating the two routes plainly at the start. Rhinoplasty in an operating theatre removes and reshapes tissue, which is how a nose gets structurally smaller or narrower. Injection does the opposite: it adds volume in a controlled path so the eye follows a different line down the face. The two techniques answer different complaints, and one is not a discount version of the other.

What changes on the day is a shadow. A profile reads as a bumpy or sunken line because light breaks across the dorsum unevenly. Raising the radix at the top of the nose, or smoothing the run below a small hump, gives that light a continuous surface to travel along, and the bump stops announcing itself even though it is still there.

This also explains the ceiling. Adding material to a nose that is already prominent in profile makes it more prominent still. That is the single most common reason a request for this procedure is declined at the consultation here.

Reach & Limits

What gel reaches on a nose, and where a surgeon is the answer

Read your own complaint against these two columns before booking anything.

What you want changedInjectable routeWhy
A low or shallow bridgeAddressableHeight is added directly on the midline, which is what the complaint is asking for
A small dorsal bumpAddressable by camouflageFilling the shallow area above and below evens the light across the dorsum; the bump itself stays
A radix that sits too deepAddressableA very small deposit at the root changes where the profile line begins
A slightly downturned tipSometimes addressableDepends on cartilage support and skin thickness, and it is judged in person
A wide nose you want narrowedSurgicalNarrowing means taking tissue away, and injection can only add
A large nose you want reducedSurgicalAdding volume to a prominent nose increases its projection
Blocked airflow or a deviated septumSurgical and functionalThis is a breathing problem and belongs with an ENT or plastic surgery service
Wide nostril baseSurgicalBase width is soft-tissue and cartilage architecture, outside what a gel can move

Where the column says surgical, we say so at the consultation and the injection is not booked. Dear Clinic does not perform nasal surgery, and a referral conversation is more useful to you than a syringe that cannot deliver what you came for.

The Dear Filler Technique

The four Dear steps, worked on a nasal midline

The sequence used for every hyaluronic acid design in this clinic, and what each step means when the target is a profile.

01
Dear Shape

The profile is turned into measurements first

The EVE Muse 3D scan, taken under five light sources with AI analysis, gives the radix depth, the dorsal line and the tip position as numbers. Your forehead and chin go into the same reading, since a profile is a relationship between three points. Only then is a target line drawn, by the same method the nose filler page describes in full.

02
Dear LayerFill

Deep on the midline, and nowhere else

On a nose the safe plane is deep, directly above the bone and cartilage of the midline, where the gel sits under the vessels instead of among them. Small aliquots are deposited slowly with low pressure. The lateral walls, where the arteries run, are left alone.

03
Dear BalanceControl

A midline that photographs straight from both sides

A dorsum that looks centred from the front can still lean when seen at three-quarters, so both sides are checked between deposits and the line is corrected while the volume is still small. Nasal asymmetry is common, and catching it early costs a tenth of a cc.

04
Dear LineFit

The finish is judged against forehead and chin

The last pass is reviewed in full profile with the whole face in frame, because a bridge is only ever as high as the surrounding features allow. Where the reading says the nose is now correct and the profile still looks unbalanced, the conversation moves to the chin instead of more gel on the nose.

Published Rates

How much does a non-surgical nose job cost in Cheongdam?

The house Korean gel has a dedicated nose line at ₩150,000 (≈ $105) per cc, set apart from its standard rate of ₩130,000 (≈ $95). A nose is not in the specialty group on this card, so imported families are billed at their ordinary per-cc rates: ₩300,000 (≈ $215), ₩350,000 (≈ $250) or ₩400,000 (≈ $285). Most nasal designs are small in volume.

Billing is by volume placed, in tenths of a cubic centimetre, so a design using part of a syringe is charged for the part that went in. The same card applies to residents and to visitors. Everything the clinic publishes sits on the transparent price list, and the wider hyaluronic acid range is set out on the dermal fillers page.

Anatomy & Risk

Why the nose is treated as the most demanding region on the filler map

The nasal dorsum and the tip are supplied by vessels that connect back toward the orbit, which is why published danger-zone anatomy singles out this region. Gel forced into one of those vessels can travel the wrong way. This is the part of the consultation we do not hurry, and it is the reason the plane, the pressure and the volume per deposit are all fixed before the needle goes in.
Expected. Redness at entry points, mild swelling across the bridge, tenderness when glasses rest on it for the first days.
Uncommon and correctable. A visible ridge, a deposit that has spread wider than intended, or a line that settles slightly off-centre. These are reviewed and adjusted, and hyaluronic acid can be reduced where needed.
Serious and rare. Vascular occlusion, presenting as blanching, disproportionate pain or dusky discoloration, and capable of progressing to skin necrosis. Visual loss following facial filler injection is documented in the ophthalmic literature, with the nose among the sites reported. Immediate recognition and enzymatic treatment are the response, which is why the injection is performed by a director rather than delegated.
Reversibility. Hyaluronidase breaks down hyaluronic acid, so a nasal result can be reduced or cleared. Older gel can be firmer and may need more than one session, and the area is assessed in person before anything is dissolved.
Previous nasal surgery. A nose that has been operated on has altered blood supply and scar planes. We do not treat a post-surgical nose without the operative history, and in some of those cases we decline and refer back to the surgeon.
Dear, Knowhow

Why a nasal profile is settled here before any gel is loaded

01 — THE FULL ARSENAL

Four hyaluronic acid families on one card

Thin dorsal skin and a firm ridge want different gels.

02 — DIAGNOSIS FIRST

EVE Muse 3D measures the profile before anyone discusses volume

Three-dimensional imaging under five light sources with AI analysis puts radix depth, dorsal line and tip position on screen as numbers, alongside forehead and chin. Where that reading shows a nose that is already prominent in profile, or a complaint that only tissue removal can answer, the recommendation is surgical referral and the injection is not offered.

03 — DIRECTOR-PERFORMED

One pair of hands from the scan to the last deposit

Your director performs the injection. On a nose, judging depth by feel, keeping pressure low and stopping at the right tenth of a cc are the whole procedure, and those judgements belong to the person who read your scan.

FAQ

The non-surgical nose job, answered

What is a non-surgical nose job, and how is it done with filler in Cheongdam?
It is an injection of cross-linked hyaluronic acid along the midline of the nose, given in a consulting room after an EVE Muse 3D reading of your profile. Small amounts are placed deep at the radix, along the bridge and sometimes at the tip, checked between deposits. Nothing is cut and nothing is removed; the procedure adds volume so the profile line reads differently.
How long does it last, and is it reversible?
Reversible, yes: hyaluronidase breaks hyaluronic acid down, so a nasal result can be reduced or cleared. Duration is the part we will not put a number on. Hyaluronic acid is metabolised at a rate that varies with the gel's properties, the plane it occupies and the person carrying it, and we would rather give you a realistic expectation for your own gel at the consultation than publish a figure that may not apply to you.
Can it make my nose smaller?
No. Injection adds material, so a nose treated this way is marginally larger in volume even when the profile looks straighter. What changes is the line the eye follows and the way light falls across the dorsum. If reduction or narrowing is the goal, that is surgical territory and we will tell you so instead of injecting.
Will it get rid of a bump on my bridge?
It camouflages one. Filling the shallow region above and below a small hump gives the dorsum a continuous surface, so the bump no longer catches light as a separate feature. The bump itself is untouched. Where the hump is large, camouflage would mean adding a great deal of height to a profile that does not want it, and that plan is declined here.
Is it safe, and what is the worst that can happen?
The nose is the highest-risk region on the published facial danger map, because its vessels connect back toward the orbit. Vascular occlusion can cause blanching, severe pain and skin necrosis, and visual loss after facial filler injection is documented in the ophthalmic literature. The controls are deep midline placement, small slow low-pressure deposits, an enzyme kept on hand, and a director performing the injection personally.
How much does it cost at Dear Clinic?
The house Korean gel is on its own nose line at ₩150,000 (≈ $105) per cc. Imported families stay on their standard rates, since a nose is outside the specialty group on this card: ₩300,000 (≈ $215), ₩350,000 (≈ $250) or ₩400,000 (≈ $285) per cc. Charging is by volume actually placed, and nasal designs typically use a fraction of a syringe.
Does it hurt, and how long is the appointment?
Comfort measures are confirmed at consultation and the injection itself is brief. Most of the visit is the scan, the measurement and the marking. Expect pressure across the bridge and a strange sensation near the radix. Whether the gel chosen for you contains an anaesthetic is confirmed when the family is selected.
What is the downtime, and when can I wear glasses again?
There is no dressing and no splint. Swelling across the bridge is usually modest and settles over the first days, and small entry-point marks can be covered. Glasses are the practical question: their weight rests exactly where the gel has been placed, so keep them off as much as you can early on and ask at your visit when to resume, since it depends on your plan.
Can I have it done if I have already had rhinoplasty?
Only after we have seen the operative history. Surgery alters the blood supply and leaves scar planes that change how gel spreads and how safely it can be placed. Some post-surgical noses are treatable with care; others we decline and send back to the operating surgeon, and that decision is made in person.
Is my chin part of this conversation?
Frequently, yes. A profile is a relationship between forehead, nose and chin, and a nose that measures correctly can still read as prominent when the chin sits behind the line. That is why both are scanned together. Where the numbers point at the chin, the budget goes to chin filler and the nose is left alone.
Can I be seen in English, and do visitors pay the same rate?
Consultation is available in English, and the published card does not change with a passport. Dear Clinic opens 365 days a year, weekends and public holidays included, which makes it realistic to fit both the treatment and a follow-up review inside one trip.

Scientific Evidence

Peer-reviewed references behind injectable nasal contouring

Everything on this page rests on two bodies of published work: the mapped arterial anatomy that makes the nose the region requiring the most caution in aesthetic injection, and the measured differences between hyaluronic acid products that decide which gel belongs on a midline. The list below covers the danger-zone anatomy, the ophthalmic complications reported after facial injection, the rheologic and physicochemical comparison of injectable products, the facial assessment and injection guidance for hyaluronic acid, and the enzyme used to reverse a placement.
