Microneedling Price in Cheongdam, Gangnam, Seoul Two published lines, both radiofrequency

Search microneedling in Seoul and most of what you find is radiofrequency microneedling, where the needle carries heat as well as making a channel. That is the only version Dear Clinic publishes a rate for, on a Potenza platform, and the whole card is two lines: the standard tip, and the pumping tip with a 5 cc booster.

What microneedling is charged at in this clinic

Radiofrequency microneedling at Dear Clinic is ₩250,000 (≈ $180) a visit on the standard tip. The pumping tip, which carries 5 cc of Juvelook or 5 cc of an exosome solution into the channels while they are open, is ₩500,000 (≈ $355) a visit. Both figures are per session and apply to residents and visitors alike.

What You Are Buying

Why the microneedling published here is the radiofrequency kind

The word covers two different procedures. Plain needling makes micro-channels and relies on the repair response to those channels alone. Radiofrequency microneedling makes the same channels and then delivers heat from the needle itself, at a depth chosen for the zone being worked.

That second step is what the price difference across the market is mostly about, and it is the reason the card in this clinic reads the way it does. A Potenza sits in the building, so every microneedling session booked here is an energy session with a depth map behind it. There is no plain-needling line on our price list, and quoting you one would mean quoting a treatment we do not perform.

It also changes what the treatment is capable of. Two effects run in the same pass: the mechanical channel that the skin has to repair, and the thermal effect placed under the surface where the needle tip releases its energy. The published work on fractional radiofrequency microneedling — for atrophic acne scarring and for enlarged pores — is listed at the foot of this page, and it is that body of evidence, not a brochure, that the treatment is built on.

Depth And The Figure

How needle depth is decided, and why it does not open a second line

Depth is a clinical setting, and it changes several times inside one appointment. The rate does not follow it. Both published lines are a flat per-visit figure for the tip named, so a slower, deeper map across a scarred cheek is charged the same as a light pass over a forehead.
The scan decides the map before the handpiece is picked up. Scar type, pore density and skin thickness are read from the EVE Muse 3D capture with its five light sources and AI analysis, and the depth setting for each zone of your face is written from those measurements.
A boxcar scar and an open pore are not the same target. Tethered, depressed scarring sits deeper in the skin than the pore walls of an oily T-zone, so a face carrying both is treated with the settings reset at every zone boundary instead of one figure applied end to end.
Skin thickness moves the numbers as much as the diagnosis does. A thin lower eyelid region and a thick sebaceous nose tolerate very different settings, which is why the map is drawn for your face and redrawn at later visits as the skin changes.
Your director holds the handpiece. The person who read the scan is the person who resets depth and energy through the session, which is also why a complicated face takes longer here without costing more than the published line.
Three Levers

What actually moves a microneedling quote

With two published lines and a flat per-visit figure on each, there are only three things left that change what you spend.

LeverWhat it does to the total
Which tip is loadedThe standard tip and the pumping tip are separate line items, and the gap between them is the 5 cc of Juvelook or exosome solution the pumping configuration carries in, plus the handling that goes with a booster. Some faces need one configuration throughout; others open on one and switch.
How many visits your skin needsThis is the largest variable by a distance, and it is the one nobody can publish. A single textural pass and a course across established scarring are different budgets built from the same per-visit figure. Your own count is estimated after the scan.
Whether a different platform is the better buyRadiofrequency microneedling is one of several routes in this building. Where the reading points to insulated microneedle RF, jet delivery, resurfacing or a subcision step, that is what gets quoted, and each carries its own published rate.

Nothing on this page is a package figure. Each visit is quoted at the line for the tip used, so a plan that changes direction halfway through changes cost in the same step.

Budgeting

How a microneedling course is quoted and paid for

Per visit is the only way this treatment is sold here. There is no prepaid block on the microneedling card and no discounted bundle, so you are never holding credit for appointments you have stopped wanting.
The estimate arrives after the scan, and it arrives as a range. Your director tells you roughly how many visits the finding is likely to need and which tip each of them would use, so you can multiply the published line yourself before agreeing to anything.
A course can change configuration part-way. It is common for a plan to open on standard-tip visits while depressed scarring is the priority, then move to the pumping tip once texture and hydration become the limiting factor. The figure moves with the tip, visit by visit.
Stopping early costs nothing beyond what you already had. Because each appointment stands alone, pausing after two visits to see how the skin settles is a normal decision and not a financial one.
A written quote can be issued before you fly. Send photographs and a description of what you want addressed through the consultation form and you will get the line, the likely configuration and an estimated visit count in writing, in English.
Scope Of The Figure

What the microneedling line covers, and what sits outside it

Each published figure buys one radiofrequency microneedling session on the tip named in that line, with the depth map drawn for your face. Anything that is a separate treatment is a separate line on the price list, and it is named and agreed with you before it happens.
A second platform in the same appointment is its own line. Where a plan pairs energy work with resurfacing, an injectable or a subcision step, each of those is quoted at its published rate and appears in the total as a separate item.
Boosters beyond the 5 cc on the pumping line are quoted separately. Juvelook as a standalone treatment has its own rate, and taking it that way is a different decision from having it driven through the channels during an energy pass.
Aftercare products and any follow-up appointment are discussed at your consultation. What your particular plan involves, and what each part of it costs, is set out for you in the room before treatment begins.
One card, one price, whichever passport you hold. Residents of Seoul and international patients are quoted from the same published lines, with no visitor surcharge, and consultations are conducted in English.
Caution

The days after a microneedling visit, and what they cost you in downtime

Downtime is part of the price of this treatment even though it never appears on the card. Expect a hot, sunburn-like flush on the day that settles over the following two or three, with the skin feeling tight and drier than usual while it repairs.
Pinpoint bleeding and swelling are ordinary on the day. Deeper maps over scarred areas mark more than light passes, and a little swelling around the treated zones is expected overnight.
Heat, alcohol and hard training belong on the other side of the flush. Sauna, hot yoga and a heavy gym session all push blood into skin that is already inflamed.
Sun protection matters more here than usual. Richly pigmented skin can respond to inflammation with temporary darkening, and unprotected sun over a freshly treated face is the main way that happens. Settings are chosen with your tone in mind, and the risk is explained before you agree to a course.
Bring your routine down to basics for a few days. Acids, retinoids and scrubs wait until the barrier has recovered; gentle cleansing and a plain moisturiser are the whole regimen in the meantime.
Call us if the skin is doing something unexpected. Spreading redness, a blister, crusting beyond the treated pattern or pain that is building rather than fading all need to be looked at, and early is better than later.

FAQ

Microneedling pricing in Cheongdam, answered

How much does microneedling cost in Cheongdam, Gangnam?
Two lines are published. A radiofrequency microneedling session on the standard tip is ₩250,000 (≈ $180), and the pumping tip carrying 5 cc of Juvelook or exosome solution is ₩500,000 (≈ $355). Both are per visit, both apply to residents and visitors, and both are confirmed with you before treatment starts.
Does Dear Clinic offer plain microneedling without radiofrequency?
No, and there is no line for it on the price list. The microneedling performed here is the radiofrequency kind, where the needle delivers heat at a mapped depth as well as making the channel. Quoting you a plain-needling rate would mean quoting a treatment we do not perform.
Why does radiofrequency microneedling cost more than plain needling?
Because a second mechanism is being delivered. Alongside the mechanical channel, energy is released from the needle at a chosen depth under the surface, on a platform that has to be mapped per zone and operated by a doctor. The published evidence base sitting behind this page is built on that configuration.
Does a deeper needle setting cost more?
It does not. Depth and energy are clinical settings that change several times within one appointment, while the figure is fixed per visit against the tip in use. A slow, deep map across scarred cheeks and a light pass over a forehead are charged at the same published line.
What is the difference between the two published lines?
The tip. The standard tip delivers the energy work alone. The pumping tip drives 5 cc of Juvelook or 5 cc of an exosome solution into the channels as they are made, so the material lands in the layer being treated. The gap between the two figures is that booster and the handling it requires.
How many visits should I budget for?
That is estimated after your scan and never before it, because the answer depends on the depth and type of what is being treated. What we can tell you is the arithmetic: each visit is charged at the published line for the tip used, so once your director has given you a likely count you can work out the total yourself.
Is there a package rate for a course?
There is no prepaid block on this card and no bundled discount. Every appointment stands on its own figure, which means you can stop after two visits, change configuration mid-course or pause for a season without money sitting with us that you may not want to spend.
Do visitors from abroad pay a different microneedling price?
The same two published lines apply whichever passport you are carrying, with no visitor surcharge, and the consultation is conducted in English. You can have the figure, the configuration and an estimated visit count in writing before you book a flight.
How does this compare with the other scar routes on your price list?
Resurfacing, insulated microneedle RF, jet delivery and a subcision step are all published separately, at their own rates. Which one is quoted depends on what the scan finds: tethered depressed scarring, active lesions and open pores lead to different platforms, and the comparison is made in front of you with both figures visible.
Would you ever point me at a different line on your card?
Regularly. Inflamed active acne is settled before scar work starts, and pigment problems are usually a vascular or toning job. Where someone expects one microneedling visit to erase deep scarring we decline the course rather than take the booking, because that expectation cannot be met by this treatment at any number of visits.
Can I have the scan and the first session on the same day?
Frequently, yes. The EVE Muse capture, the depth map and the session can run in one appointment if the skin is ready for it and the plan is agreed. The clinic is open 365 days, so a first visit is usually easy to place, and booking ahead makes the timing simpler.
What downtime should I price into the decision?
Plan for a hot, sunburn-like flush on the day that settles across the two or three days after it, with tightness and dryness while the barrier repairs. Deeper maps mark more than light passes. Sun protection, gentle cleansing and a plain moisturiser are the routine until it has calmed.
