The Address

Where Dear Clinic sits, and what to put in front of a driver

Dear Clinic occupies the fifth and seventh floors of the Namhangang Building, 85-3 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul — the Cheongdam and Apgujeong Rodeo side of Gangnam. Detailed directions and a photograph of the building entrance are sent with your booking confirmation, so the last hundred metres are settled before you set off.

One habit saves more time here than any route advice: carry the destination as text on your phone screen. Korean drivers and navigation apps work from a written address far more reliably than from a spoken one, and a building name plus a district reads unambiguously even when the pronunciation does not survive the journey.

This page deliberately does not print a walking route, an exit number or a minute count. Those depend on where you start, which entrance you use and what the traffic is doing that afternoon, and a wrong number on a website is worse than none at all. What we send you instead is the confirmed route for the appointment you actually booked.

Routes

Four ways people reach the clinic, and what each one asks of you

Principles, so they hold whichever hotel, airport or previous appointment you are coming from.

ROUTE 01

By taxi, with the address on screen

Show the written address at the start of the ride and keep it visible. A metered taxi in Seoul is straightforward for a visitor, and the driver does not need you to speak Korean to read a destination that is already typed out.

ROUTE 02

By ride-hailing app, booked before you leave

Apps used in Korea let you set the destination yourself, which removes the pronunciation problem entirely. Book from inside the lobby you are leaving, not on the pavement, so the pick-up point matches where you are standing.

ROUTE 03

By public transport, then the last stretch on foot

Gangnam is well served by rail. Because the final approach differs by entrance, we send the walking directions for your own appointment with the confirmation instead of publishing one generic version here.

ROUTE 04

From an airport, on a schedule you set in advance

Korea's international airports sit outside the city, so an arrival-day appointment lives or dies on the transfer. Tell us your landing time when you book and we will say plainly whether the slot is realistic or whether the next morning is the better booking.

An appointment slotted in at the end of a full day in Gangnam is the one most often reached late, and nothing about the visit is rushed to make up the difference. A morning slot is worth asking for when the rest of the day is already committed.

The Building

Finding the right floor once you are inside Namhangang Building

Two floors carry the clinic, and which one you start on depends on what was booked.

Five and seven, both ours. Reception, consultation and treatment are distributed across the fifth and seventh floors. Your confirmation names the floor to arrive at, and the desk moves you between them; there is no second building to find.
The entrance photograph matters more than the map pin. Commercial buildings in Cheongdam look alike from the street and their ground floors are often occupied by something else entirely. The photograph sent with your confirmation is the reliable landmark.
Arrive a few minutes early if it is your first visit. The paperwork asks for medication, allergies and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Answering it unhurried is worth more than it sounds, because those answers change what can safely be recommended.
If anything goes wrong on the way, message instead of guessing. WhatsApp +82 10-2820-2681 reaches the same desk that confirmed your slot, in English. A delayed arrival is a rearranged appointment; an unexplained absence is a slot nobody could reuse.
Inside

The order a visit runs in from the counter to the treatment room

Four steps, the same for residents and for visitors, and none of them skipped because a trip is short.

STEP 01

Check-in at the counter

Photographic identification and your medication and allergy history. No payment is taken at this point and no deposit was needed to hold the slot, so nothing financial happens before a doctor has looked at your skin.

STEP 02

The EVE Muse 3D scan

Imaging in three dimensions under five light sources with AI analysis, reading pigment, texture, elasticity and vascular tone. It takes place before any figure is named, and it produces the picture you and the doctor will both be looking at.

STEP 03

Consultation with a director

The scan is read aloud with you in English: what it shows, what is worth treating during this trip, and what we do not recommend at all. Bruising, swelling and how long each lasts are named here, and the itemised total is agreed before you commit to anything.

STEP 04

Treatment, then the recovery bay

Where the plan is suitable for the day, the same director performs it. You leave from a recovery bay with aftercare instructions in English and a route back to us if something worries you later.

We publish no fixed length for the visit, because the scan, the conversation and the treatment take what they take. Tell us the window you have when you book and the length is confirmed with the slot — which is also how we avoid booking you into an afternoon that cannot hold the plan you came for.

What to Carry

What to bring to a Cheongdam appointment, and what to send ahead

A passport or photographic ID. No Korean phone number and no resident registration number are required of a visitor.
A written list of medication and supplements, plus any allergy history. Anticoagulants and pregnancy or breastfeeding change what can be offered on the day.
Your recent treatment history: injectables, lasers, threads, and how your skin usually heals and bruises.
Travel dates, sent ahead through the form or on WhatsApp, so the reply can tell you what fits the days you actually have.
A card for payment. Korean won is what you pay; any USD figure shown beside a rate on this site is an approximate reference.

Sending the history before you fly is worth more than bringing it with you. It lets the reply say whether a plan is realistic for your window, and it means the appointment opens with the scan instead of with a questionnaire.

On the Card

What visitors most often book once the scan has been read

Three published lines that turn up repeatedly on a first plan here, each with its own page.

RouteWhat it is forSold inListed rate
Ultherapy PrimeImaging-guided focused ultrasound for a lower face that has lost definition, placed at 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm with visualisation to 8 mm100 shots₩400,000 (≈ $285)
Rejuran HealerA polynucleotide skin booster placed in the skin itself, taken for texture and resilience, with contour left to other routes2cc₩300,000 (≈ $215)
Dual laser toning with skincareLow-fluence pigment work planned as a course, for uneven tone and dullness1 session₩200,000 (≈ $145)

Those three are examples, chosen because they cover the three questions visitors arrive with most often: firmness, skin quality and tone. Your own plan is built from the reading, and the whole card is on the published price list. The same published figures apply to visitors and to Korean patients, with no surcharge.

Whether any of it happens on the day you arrive is a separate question, and our same-day treatment page answers it properly: some routes fit one visit, courses and sequenced combinations are staged, and the doctor says which before you pay. A booster course in particular is bought as a sequence, so a single session on a single trip is discussed with that in mind.

Dear, Knowhow

Why the journey here is worth planning around the appointment

01 — THE FULL ARSENAL

One address covers six treatment categories

Lifting, injectables, boosters, pigment lasers, acne work and body treatments are all on these two floors. A visitor makes one journey and gets the whole examination, and no device in the building needs your booking badly enough to shape the advice.

02 — DIAGNOSIS FIRST

The EVE Muse scan is the first appointment, every time

Nothing is quoted before the imaging is read. That order is what lets a consultation end in a smaller plan than the one you travelled for, or in a plan for a later trip.

03 — DIRECTOR-PERFORMED

The doctor who reads the scan holds the handpiece

Treatment here is director-performed, so there is no handover between the person who advises and the person who treats. For a visitor with one window in the city, that removes the step where a plan quietly grows.

Timing

When to aim your journey,
and what the clinic hours allow

Weekdays run 10:00 to 19:00 and weekends and public holidays 10:00 to 16:00, with no lunch closure, 365 days a year. A midday slot is therefore a real slot, and a Sunday is a normal working day here — which matters when the only free afternoon in a trip falls on one. The full year-round schedule sits on our 365-day opening page.
Aim the appointment at the front of a trip. Bruising and swelling are visible for days after several routes, and a journey planned for the last afternoon leaves no room for a review.
Weekend and holiday hours are shorter, so a plan needing a longer visit is easier to place on a weekday morning.
Walk-ins are accepted, but weekends fill, and a booked slot is what lets the desk prepare English coordination for your arrival.
If your inbound flight is delayed, message before the slot passes; moving an appointment is routine when we hear in time.

If your dates do not give a treatment the recovery it needs, we will tell you to keep the journey and skip the procedure, and write the plan for a later trip.

Caution

What to know before you set off for a treatment appointment

Do not arrive having skipped breakfast. Several routes involve injections, and an empty stomach makes a faint more likely. Eat something before the journey.
Alcohol the night before shows up as bruising. It thins nothing permanently, but it does make injection sites bruise more readily, and bruising is the side effect travellers most regret timing badly.
Plan the journey home as well as the journey here. Redness, swelling and tenderness are normal after energy and injectable work, and a long onward trip on the same evening is harder than people expect.
Heat comes off the itinerary for a few days. Saunas, jjimjilbang, hot yoga and intense exercise wait after most treatments; your director sets the period. Sunscreen is daily, particularly after pigment work.
Message if something changes after you leave. Spreading redness, increasing pain, blistering or a lasting colour change means contacting the clinic immediately. Comfort measures during a session itself are confirmed at your consultation.

Tell your director about implanted electronic devices, metal in a treatment field, anticoagulants, keloid scarring, recent isotretinoin, pregnancy and breastfeeding. Some of these change the route chosen on the day and one or two rule a session out entirely.

FAQ

Getting to Cheongdam, question by question

What is the exact address of Dear Clinic?
Namhangang Building, fifth and seventh floors, 85-3 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Carry it as written text on your phone for the driver or the navigation app. Detailed directions and a photograph of the building entrance are sent with your booking confirmation.
Which floor should I go to when I arrive?
The floor to arrive at is named in your confirmation, because the clinic occupies both the fifth and the seventh. The desk takes you between them during the visit. There is only one building and one clinic, so a lobby board in Korean is not something you have to decode alone.
How do I get there from the airport?
Korea's international airports are outside the city, so the transfer is the part worth planning. Tell us your landing time when you book and we will say whether a same-day slot is realistic for your arrival or whether the following morning is the sounder booking. We do not publish a journey time, because traffic decides it.
Can I take a taxi, and do I need Korean to do it?
Yes to the first and no to the second. Show the written address on your screen at the start of the ride and keep it visible. A ride-hailing app removes the question entirely, since you set the destination yourself before the driver arrives.
Which subway station and exit should I use?
We do not publish a station, an exit number or a walking time on this page, because the right approach depends on where you are travelling from. Walking directions for your own appointment are sent with the booking confirmation, along with a photograph of the entrance, which is the part that actually prevents a wrong door.
How early should I arrive for a first appointment?
A few minutes early is enough. The first-visit paperwork covers medication, supplements, allergy history and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and those answers change what can safely be recommended. Sending the same information ahead through the form shortens the counter stage considerably.
What happens first once I am inside?
Check-in with identification and your medication list, then the EVE Muse 3D scan under five light sources with AI analysis, then the consultation with a director who reads the scan with you in English and names what is worth treating and what is not. Treatment, where it suits the day, follows in the same visit.
Can I be treated on the day I travel in?
Often, if the director confirms it suits you and you approve the plan and the total. Energy lifting, single-area injectables and toxin fit one visit most readily; courses and sequenced combinations are staged, and we say which before payment. Our same-day treatment page sets out the difference.
Are you open on Sundays and Korean public holidays?
Yes. Weekdays 10:00 to 19:00, weekends and public holidays 10:00 to 16:00, with no lunch closure, 365 days a year. For a traveller whose only free day is a national holiday, that is usually the detail that decides the journey.
What should I bring to the appointment?
A passport or photographic ID, a written list of medication and supplements, your allergy history, and a note of recent injectables, lasers or threads. Bring a card for payment. No deposit is taken to reserve, and no Korean phone number or resident registration number is needed.
What do the treatments visitors book most often cost?
Three examples from the published card: ₩400,000 (≈ $285) for 100 shots of imaging-guided focused ultrasound, ₩300,000 (≈ $215) for 2cc of a polynucleotide booster, and ₩200,000 (≈ $145) for a dual laser toning session with skincare. Your own quote is itemised from the same list after the scan, at the same rates Korean patients pay.
What if I am running late, or lost?
Message WhatsApp +82 10-2820-2681, which reaches the same desk that confirmed your booking, in English. A late arrival that we hear about is usually a rearranged appointment; the unhelpful version is the one nobody tells us about. The consultation form on this page reaches the same team.
