Rejuran vs Skin Booster in Gangnam

Rejuran is a skin booster, so this search is really asking something sharper — of the six injectables published here, which one answers the finding you walked in with.

Direct Answer

Is Rejuran a skin booster, or an alternative to one?

It is one. Rejuran is the polynucleotide member of the booster family, published here at ₩300,000 (≈ $215) for 2 cc of the Healer line. The useful comparison is therefore against its shelfmates: a PDLLA hybrid at ₩100,000 (≈ $70) per 1 cc, a hyaluronic acid line at ₩450,000 (≈ $320) per 1 cc, and a PLLA vial at ₩1,000,000 (≈ $715).

The phrase skin booster was invented by marketing departments and covers materials with almost nothing in common beyond the route of delivery. Everything on the list is injected into skin, and after that they diverge completely: one carries a repair signal, one carries water, two provoke the body into laying down its own collagen on a slow schedule.

So the question worth asking at a consultation is never which booster is strongest. It is which finding your face presents with, because the material follows from that, and a strong material aimed at the wrong finding produces an expensive nothing.

What follows sets out the four findings the category answers, the six published lines that answer them at Dear Clinic, and the order the decision is actually made in.

Four Findings

What a booster is being asked to do, in four separate jobs

Written as findings, because that is the form the answer arrives in on the scan.

FINDING 01

Damage that has to be repaired

Skin worn down by an aggressive year, reactive at the surface, rough to the touch and slow to settle after anything. Here the barrier itself is the ceiling on every other treatment you might buy, and polydeoxyribonucleotide is the material aimed squarely at it. This is Rejuran's finding, and the page you are reading exists because it is the one most often confused with the next.

FINDING 02

Water the skin no longer holds

A surface that reads healthy under magnification and still feels tight by mid-afternoon. Nothing is broken; the capacity to keep water in the upper layers has simply dropped. A hyaluronic acid line answers this directly by depositing water-binding material where it is short, which is a supply fix and behaves like one.

FINDING 03

Collagen that has to be provoked

Pore-area slackness, a grain that has loosened, skin that photographs thinner than it did. Polylactic acid materials work by prompting the tissue to build its own collagen over weeks, which is why they are judged at a review appointment and never on the way out of the room.

Finding 04 — support that sits next door to volume. A PLLA vial placed across a plane builds gradual structural support and comes closest of the four to what patients mean by fullness. It is still a stimulator and not a filler: it adds nothing on the day, and where the reading says the deficit is genuine volume loss we quote hyaluronic acid filler and leave the booster shelf alone.
The fifth answer is none of them. Descent is a lifting question and uneven tone is a laser question. Both walk in every week described as dull, tired skin, and both are quoted away from this category rather than into it.

Rejuran and Its Shelfmates

Six published booster lines, read against the finding each answers

Rejuran occupies two of the six rows. The other four are what the comparison is really against.

Line Material Finding it answers Unit Published rate
Rejuran Healer PDRN, purified from salmon DNA 01 — repair, where skin condition is the ceiling 2 cc ₩300,000 (≈ $215)
Rejuran HB & Rejuran Eye PDRN paired with hyaluronic acid 01 with 02 — repair carrying surface water; the Eye line for thin under-eye skin 2 cc ₩400,000 (≈ $285)
Juvelook PDLLA in a hyaluronic acid carrier, from VAIM 03 — gradual collagen stimulation and pore-area grain 1 cc ₩100,000 (≈ $70)
Skinvive Hyaluronic acid, from Allergan 02 — a hydration field on skin that reads sound 1 cc ₩450,000 (≈ $320)
Sculptra PLLA, from Galderma 04 — gradual structural support across a plane 1 vial ₩1,000,000 (≈ $715)
Laetigen Stocked and charged by the 2 cc unit Settled at diagnosis; no claim is made for it on this page 2 cc ₩800,000 (≈ $570)

Published rates as of September 2026. Note that three units appear in the table — a 2 cc syringe, a single cc and a vial — so the five figures cannot be ranked against one another and a cheaper row does not mean a cheaper plan. Korean residents and international visitors pay the same, and there is no foreigner surcharge on any row.

The Decision Path

How the shortlist narrows from six lines to one quote

In this order, every time, and the first step disqualifies more candidates than the other three combined.

Step one, and the reason it comes first

The EVE Muse system photographs the face in 3D under five light sources with AI analysis and reports moisture, surface texture and elasticity as separate values. Three complaints that sound identical across a consultation desk separate cleanly on that read-out, and which one you have decides the family before anybody talks about a brand.

It also rules the category out. If the capture reads descent, no row in the table above answers it and the quote you leave with is for something else entirely.

Step two: material, then line

A repair finding narrows to the polynucleotide rows, and the choice between Healer and the HB line turns on whether surface water is part of the brief and whether the under-eye area is in the plan. A collagen finding narrows to the polylactic rows, where the split is between a cc of hybrid material and a reconstituted vial across a plane.

Step three: zones and dose

The treated field is marked before anything is prepared. Under-eye work is its own unit at its own rate, which is the commonest reason a booster estimate comes back larger than the row in the table suggested it would.

Dose follows the area mapped. A cc figure buys a cc, so a face wide enough to need two will be quoted for two before you agree to anything.

Step four: rhythm, written but not printed

Polynucleotide and polylactic plans are both judged across visits, so the interval matters as much as the material. No session count appears on our price list, because a count written before anyone has looked at your skin is a marketing number. Yours is discussed with the capture on screen, and every visit is paid as it happens with nothing prepaid.

Before & After

We publish only what has been checked photograph by photograph, which is why one row of this table is illustrated and the others are not.

Dear, Knowhow

Why the booster shortlist is drawn up this way here

01 — THE FULL ARSENAL

Every row of that table is on the trolley

Six booster lines, the full hyaluronic acid filler range and the complete lifting line, all held in the same building. No row needs moving this quarter, so the one written on your quote is the one the reading pointed at.

02 — DIAGNOSIS FIRST

Three values read apart before a brand is said aloud

The EVE Muse capture separates moisture from surface texture and from elasticity, which is exactly the separation the four findings above are built on. A patient convinced they need the brand they read about on social media frequently leaves with a different row, and occasionally with none.

03 — DIRECTOR-PERFORMED

Depth changes what a material does

Polylactic materials placed too superficially can leave palpable nodules; polynucleotide deposits set too shallow leave visible bumps for a day. Sessions here are director-performed by the doctor who read your capture, and bruising, swelling and transient lumps are named to you before you agree to anything.

When We Say No

Booster consultations that end with no row selected

Naming these in advance is cheaper for you than discovering them after a course.

The capture reads descent. Nothing on the booster list lifts anything, so we decline the category and quote a lifting protocol against the same photograph.
The deficit is genuine volume. A stimulator builds slowly and adds nothing on the day, so where a cheek has actually emptied the correct answer is a filler plan and we say so.
The complaint is pigment or redness. Both read as dull skin in a mirror and neither answers to an injectable from this shelf; the quote written instead is for laser work.
There is active inflammation or infection at the intended entry points, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding. We decline to inject and ask you back when that has passed. A seafood allergy specifically removes the salmon-derived rows.
You have already had several sessions this year without being able to say what changed. A scan and a pause is the prescription there, and we will book the diagnosis without treating on the day.

Caution

After any row on the booster list

Entry points, mild redness and some swelling are ordinary on the day whichever material was used, and usually settle within a day or two.
Keep cleansing gentle for the first couple of days and leave the treated area unpressed; a stimulator plan in particular dislikes being massaged while it settles.
Leave scrubs, exfoliating acids and peels for about a week, and keep alcohol, smoking and saunas out of the first few days.
Transient palpable deposits can follow either family. Anything that persists, grows or becomes painful is reviewed at the clinic in person and not over a message thread.
Tell your director what else is booked — a laser appointment, dental work, a long flight, an event. Comfort measures for the session itself are confirmed at consultation.
Where to Read Next

From the shortlist into the individual materials

The category page for skin boosters and collagen stimulators sets out the whole shelf, and each row has its own page: Rejuran Healer, Juvelook, Skinvive and Sculptra.

Two head-to-head pages narrow it further: Rejuran against Juvelook for the repair-or-collagen question and Sculptra against Juvelook for the two polylactic rows. Every figure quoted here also appears on the published price list.

FAQ

Rejuran against the booster shelf, question by question

Is Rejuran a skin booster or something different?
It belongs to the category. Rejuran is the polynucleotide entry on a list that also holds a PDLLA hybrid, a hyaluronic acid line and a PLLA vial. Searching for it against skin boosters usually means wanting to know which of those four materials answers your own finding, which is a question a reading settles and a brand name cannot.
Which booster is the strongest?
There is no ranking, because the four materials are aimed at four different findings. A polylactic stimulator will not repair a damaged barrier however much you use, and a polynucleotide plan will not build the kind of gradual support a vial of PLLA does. Strength in this category means fit, and fit is decided on the scan.
How do the published rates compare across the shelf?
Rejuran Healer is ₩300,000 (≈ $215) per 2 cc and the HB and Eye lines ₩400,000 (≈ $285) per 2 cc; Juvelook is ₩100,000 (≈ $70) per 1 cc; Skinvive is ₩450,000 (≈ $320) per 1 cc; Sculptra is ₩1,000,000 (≈ $715) per vial and Laetigen ₩800,000 (≈ $570) per 2 cc. Three different units appear there, so the figures are not a league table.
Can I combine Rejuran with another booster?
Sequencing is common and stacking is not. Where two findings are present, the materials are usually staged across separate visits with real spacing, so the same area is never asked to recover from two injections at once. Whether your own case suits a sequence is decided at the reading and written into the plan before any figure is agreed.
What is Laetigen, and why is there no description of it here?
It is stocked and published at ₩800,000 (≈ $570) for the 2 cc unit, and it appears in the table for that reason. We make no mechanism claim for it on this page, because a claim we cannot source from our own records is worth less to you than a blank. Whether it suits your finding is settled at diagnosis.
Which row should a first-time patient start with?
Whichever row the finding points at, though in practice the polynucleotide and hydration rows are gentler introductions than a vial placed across a plane. Starting with a single unit obliges you to nothing, and a review appointment tells you far more about what your skin does with a material than any article can.
Do any of these change the shape of my face?
Not in the way filler does. A PLLA vial builds gradual structural support and comes closest, but it adds nothing on the day and works over weeks. If the mirror complaint is a hollow or a fold, the quote you should be asking for is a filler plan and we will write that one instead.
How long does each row take to show anything?
Onset differs by material and by person. A hydration field is the quickest of the four to read, while the polynucleotide and polylactic rows accumulate across visits and are judged at a review against your stored capture. We set expectations for your specific plan at consultation instead of publishing a timetable that would not fit you.
How many sessions will a booster plan take?
No count is published here. Any number printed in advance is written before anyone has seen the skin it is meant to describe. Your interval and the likely shape of the plan are discussed with the capture on screen, each visit is charged at the published rate on the day, and nothing is prepaid or held on an account.
What are the risks across these materials?
Bruising, swelling and visible entry points are common to all of them. Transient palpable deposits can follow a polynucleotide session placed shallow, and polylactic materials carry a risk of nodules where placement is too superficial. Infection is possible wherever skin is broken. Your director names the ones relevant to your row before anything is drawn up.
Is the price the same for international patients?
It is. Every row above is charged identically to Korean residents and to visitors, with no surcharge of any kind. Consultation is conducted in English, the clinic is open 365 days, and a written figure comes back as soon as possible of your enquiry.
I am in Seoul briefly. Which rows suit a short trip?
The single-visit rows do: a hydration field is mapped, treated and reviewed without needing a return. Plans judged across spaced visits fit a short trip poorly, and if your reading points at one you will hear that before booking. A single unit of anything is still a complete purchase and commits you to nothing further.

Scientific Evidence

Published work behind the polynucleotide and polylactic rows of this table

Six papers, split between the two material families that occupy most of the table above. Three concern polydeoxyribonucleotide: an early proliferation study, a comparison of two delivery methods for a polynucleotide injectable, and a 2025 overview of established findings and open questions. Three concern poly-l-lactic acid, including a direct comparison of PLLA with the PDLLA form used in the hybrid row.

They are listed with DOIs so the primary sources can be read directly. None of them prices a treatment, ranks the rows in our table, or says what your own skin will do.
