Rejuran for Dark Circles in Cheongdam, Gangnam, Seoul

Polynucleotide injection answers the under-eye that is dark because the skin over it is thin and crepey. It answers neither of the other two kinds, and this page says which is which.

Direct Answer

Which dark circle does Rejuran actually answer?

The one caused by thin, crepey under-eye skin, where the bluish colour underneath shows through a dermis that has lost thickness. Polynucleotide injection works on the skin itself. It does not lighten pigment, and it does not fill a hollow, so two of the three common under-eye complaints are outside what it can do.

Rejuran HB and Rejuran Eye are listed at ₩400,000 (≈ $285) per 2 cc here. Before that figure means anything, somebody has to establish that the shadow in front of you belongs to the type the material addresses, and that determination takes a scan and two physical tests, not a mirror.

Most under-eyes are a blend of causes. The proportions decide what gets treated first, and occasionally they decide that polynucleotide is the wrong purchase this year.

Sorting the Shadow

Three under-eyes wearing one name, and where polynucleotide fits

Stretch the skin sideways with two fingers, then tilt your chin up under a ceiling light. Between those two movements, most of the answer appears.

TypeWhat you seeWhat the two tests showIs Rejuran the answer?
Thin skin, vessels showing throughA bluish or greyish wash across the lid and the ridge below it, with a crepey surface when you smileColour softens noticeably under gentle stretch; skin is slow to spring back after a pinchYes — this is the type the eye line is dosed for
Pigment sitting in the skinBrown or grey-brown with a border you could trace, often symmetricColour stays put under stretch and does not change with head angleNo — a pigment route is assessed separately
Hollowing under the rimDarkness that deepens under overhead light and softens when you lie flatChanges with head angle; the groove can be felt with a fingertipNo — volume, where the finding suits it

If the colour barely moved when you stretched the skin, you are probably not looking at the indication this page is about, and buying a polynucleotide unit for it would be money spent on the wrong layer. Pigment is worked through a course approach on the laser toning page, and redness with a visible vascular component is assessed on the Excel V page, each carrying its own published session rate.

Why Thin Skin Is the Indication

What polynucleotide does in the skin under your eye

The material and the layer it is meant for

Rejuran is a polydeoxyribonucleotide preparation from PharmaResearch, the fraction people know by its salmon-DNA origin, supplied in 2 cc. The range carries an HB line and an Eye line, and the two share a single row on our list.

The work is done in the skin, so the finding it addresses has to be a skin finding. Under-eye skin is the thinnest on the face, and when it thins further the colour of what lies beneath reads through it more plainly.

What that means for the colour you can see

Where the shadow is a see-through effect, improving the condition of the covering layer is the mechanism that makes sense. Where the shadow is melanin in that layer, or a groove in the bone-and-fat architecture beneath it, the same injection is addressing the wrong thing.

We publish no figure for how much colour changes, because the literature below does not supply one for this indication and our own cases vary considerably between individuals. Your director will describe a realistic range in person, against your capture, before you pay for anything.

The Protocol

How an under-eye polynucleotide session is actually run here

Four steps, and the first one is the step that can end the appointment.

STEP 01

Capture, stretch test, decision

EVE Muse photographs the face in 3D under five light sources with AI analysis, and your director adds the stretch and the head-tilt at the chair. If the reading says pigment or hollowing is carrying the colour, the plan changes here.

STEP 02

Comfort, and the margin around the eye

Comfort measures are confirmed at consultation. The eye area gets a narrower working field than the cheek and a more conservative approach to it, which is a judgement made at the chair, and no machine setting substitutes for it.

STEP 03

Placement across the eye field

Fine deposits are placed across the treated field by the director who read your capture. Over-filling shallow skin here leaves visible lumps for days, which is the practical argument for restraint in this zone.

STEP 04

Check, then read the field at review

Injection points and any swelling are checked before you leave, aftercare is set out, and the field is compared with your stored capture at the review that decides whether a further unit is worth buying.

Plan on about an hour in the building for a first under-eye visit, most of which is the capture, the conversation and the comfort measures. Come without eye make-up if you can, and tell us at booking about any recent illness or blood-thinning medication.

The Boundary

Four under-eyes we will not treat with a polynucleotide unit

Naming these is more useful to you than another paragraph about what the material can do.

A pigment circle with a traceable border. Colour that ignores the stretch test is melanin in the skin. Injecting the layer it sits in does not lighten it, and we do not recommend the material for that finding.
A defined groove under the orbital rim. Where the darkness is a shadow cast by a step in the contour, thickening the skin above changes little. That is a volume question, and it is assessed against the eye-area filler route described below.
Orbital fat that has pushed forward into a bag. A bulge that persists when you lie down is a structural change. No injection, laser or radiofrequency tip we own corrects it, and the appropriate route is a surgical opinion that this clinic does not provide.
An under-eye that changes week to week. Colour that tracks sleep, allergy, iron or thyroid belongs with a physician before it belongs with any syringe. We will decline the booking and say why.

Holding the injectable routes, both radiofrequency platforms and the laser range in one building is what makes the sentence above easy for a director to say out loud. There is no single item here that has to be moved this month, so the reading is free to land wherever it lands.

The Other Injectable Route

Where the Eye Light filler route takes over from polynucleotide

Two injectables, two different findings, two published rates. Both are performed here, and they are not interchangeable.

RouteThe finding it is aimed atWhere the material goesListed rate
Rejuran HB / EyeThin, crepey skin over the eye area; a see-through quality to the colourFine deposits within the skin itself₩400,000 (≈ $285) / 2 cc
Eye LightA shadow produced by a step in the contour, where the finding suits fillingA small-volume hyaluronic-acid product placed deeper, in the eye area₩500,000 (≈ $355) / 0.5 cc

Published rates as of September 2026, identical for Korean residents and for international patients, with no foreigner surcharge. The KRW figure is what you pay and the USD figure is a reference conversion. A quote for your own plan is written out and agreed before anything is opened.

The eye area is among the least forgiving places on the face to put volume, and the Eye Light row is one our directors decline more often than they accept. Where the contour question is settled first and thin skin remains on top of it, the two routes can run in sequence at separate visits; that sequencing is decided at the chair. The wider hyaluronic-acid range is set out on the dermal filler category page, and the treatment page for the polynucleotide range is Rejuran at Dear Clinic.

Dear, Knowhow

Why the under-eye reading is the part worth paying for

01 — THE FULL ARSENAL

All three under-eye answers are on our own list

Polynucleotide, eye-area volume and the pigment and vascular laser routes are published here with their rates.

02 — DIAGNOSIS FIRST

A stretch test, a tilt and a 3D capture before a syringe

EVE Muse imaging separates surface colour from texture and from contour, and two physical tests at the chair finish the job that a photograph on its own cannot. People arrive at this clinic having already spent money under the eye without changing it, almost always because nobody sorted the type before selling the treatment.

03 — DIRECTOR-PERFORMED

Nothing near the orbit is delegated

The tissue under the eye is thin, mobile and richly supplied with vessels, which is why bruising is more likely here than on the cheek. Every injection in this zone is director-performed, by the doctor who read your capture, with hyaluronidase held in the building for the hyaluronic-acid route.

Afterwards

The days after an under-eye polynucleotide session

Injection points across the treated field. A grid of small marks on the day, settling over the following days in most people. Eye make-up over them is a conversation to have at the chair.
Raised deposits where material sits shallow. Transient, and more visible here than anywhere else on the face precisely because the skin is thin.
Swelling and the real possibility of bruising. The eye area bruises more readily than the cheek. If you have an event, count backwards generously before you book.
Sleep, salt and heat all show here first. A puffy morning during the settling week is common and is rarely a sign that anything went wrong.
Anything persistent is looked at in person. Come in and be examined. A photograph in a message thread is not an assessment of an eye.

Intervals between visits are set at the review with your capture on the screen, and the clinic is open every day of the year, so a second visit can be timed by your skin and your travel dates instead of by our rota. We publish no fixed session count for this area, and individual responses vary enough that any printed number would be a sales figure.

FAQ

Rejuran under the eye, question by question

Is Rejuran good for dark circles?
For one kind of dark circle. Where the colour comes from thin, crepey skin letting what lies beneath show through, polynucleotide injection is aimed at exactly that layer. Where the colour is pigment in the skin, or a shadow cast by a hollow, it is aimed at the wrong thing, and the stretch test at your consultation is what separates the three.
How much does Rejuran for the under-eye cost in Seoul?
At Dear Clinic the Rejuran HB and Eye row is ₩400,000 (≈ $285) for a 2 cc unit, and the under-eye is treated as its own unit. If the face is treated at the same visit that is a second unit, and the quote will show both before you agree to anything. The rate is identical for visitors and for Korean residents.
What is the difference between Rejuran HB and Rejuran Eye?
They are two names on the same list at the same rate. HB is the hydro-balance formulation, which carries hyaluronic acid alongside the polynucleotide component; Eye is the formulation prepared for the thin, mobile skin of the eye area. Which one is drawn for your session is a clinical choice your director makes at the chair, and it does not change the figure.
Will Rejuran lighten pigmented dark circles?
No, and that is the most important sentence on this page. Pigment is melanin sitting in the skin, and it is assessed through a pigment route, and an injectable placed in that layer does not lift it. You can check at home: stretch the skin gently sideways, and if the colour stays exactly where it was, you are probably looking at pigment.
Can Rejuran fill a tear trough or a hollow under my eye?
It cannot. Polynucleotide is placed within the skin and does not add contour beneath it. Where the darkness deepens under overhead light and softens when you lie flat, the finding is a step in the contour, and the route assessed for that is the eye-area filler listed at ₩500,000 (≈ $355) for 0.5 cc, where the anatomy suits it.
How many sessions will my under-eye need?
We do not print a number. The interval and the likely shape of the series are worked out at your review with the stored capture on screen, and each visit is charged as it happens, so nothing is prepaid. Responses differ between individuals to a degree that makes any advertised session count a marketing figure.
How long does the effect last under the eye?
We give no duration figure here, because the papers listed at the foot of this page do not supply one for this indication and inventing a range would be worse than admitting the gap. What your director can describe in person are the variables that move it: your age, the starting thickness of the skin, sun exposure, sleep and how the field reads at review.
Will I bruise, and how long before I look normal?
Bruising is a real possibility under the eye and more likely there than on the cheek, alongside visible injection points and some swelling on the day. Most of it settles over the following days. Book with room to spare before any event, and tell us at the consultation about blood thinners, supplements and recent illness.
Is Rejuran under the eye painful?
It is an injection into thin skin, so it is felt. Comfort measures are confirmed at consultation before anything starts. Tell your director during the session if anything feels uncomfortable.
Can I have Rejuran under the eye and a filler at the same visit?
Sometimes, though our directors more often separate them. Treating contour and skin quality on the same day makes the result difficult to read at review, and the eye area gives very little margin for two procedures at once. Where both are indicated, the sequence and the interval are decided at the chair and written into your plan.
Why are there no before-and-after photos of dark circles on this page?
Because shadow under an eye is made of light. Two degrees of chin tilt or one change of overhead lamp creates or erases a hollow with nothing having been treated, which makes under-eye photography easy to stage and hard to audit. We show no case set for this area until we hold one photographed under controlled conditions, with the interval and the single treatment recorded.
I have five days in Seoul. Is one under-eye unit worth it?
Possibly, but the bruising question decides it more often than the clinical one. A single unit is a complete purchase and obliges you to nothing further, though the days after an eye-area session are not the days to be photographed. Send your dates with your first message and we will tell you plainly whether the timing works before you book a flight around it.

Scientific Evidence

Scientific evidence on polynucleotide, and what it does not cover

The three peer-reviewed sources below concern polydeoxyribonucleotide itself: an early proliferation study, a comparison of needle and needle-free delivery for a polynucleotide injectable, and a 2025 overview of what is established alongside what remains open. They are listed with DOIs so you can read them rather than take a clinic's word for their contents.

None of them studies dark circles as an outcome, none prices a treatment, and none predicts what your own under-eye will do. That gap is the reason this page gives no percentage and no duration.
