What a full body plan costs, zone by zone

A full-body plan at Dear Clinic is assembled from separately published zones. Underarms start at ₩30,000 (≈ $20) a session for women and ₩50,000 (≈ $35) for men, with larger fields such as the abdomen at ₩170,000 (≈ $120) and ₩210,000 (≈ $150). Every zone also has a five-session figure.

Figures current for September 2026 in KRW, with a USD equivalent printed only so you can orient yourself. Torso and limb fields are split into upper and lower halves, which is why a whole back or a whole abdomen counts as two lines. Facial zones, bikini, Brazilian, chest, hairline and the men-only fields carry their own published figures on the price list, the treatment itself is set out on the laser hair removal page, and appointments run every day of the year.

Where the total comes from

What decides the size of your hair removal bill

Four variables account for almost every gap between one quote and another. None of them is applied after you have already booked.

01

How many fields you stack

The bill is additive. Two arms and two legs read as four separate published lines, and a whole back splits into an upper line and a lower line. Stacking is where a full-body figure is actually built.

02

Whether the grid is women’s or men’s

Men’s figures sit above women’s for the same named field because the hair is typically coarser and the surface area larger, which takes more pulses and more time on the chair.

03

Single visits or a block of five

Each zone is published twice. The five-session figure is set below five separate visits at the single rate, so the saving is legible before you decide, and nothing is negotiated at the desk.

04

How your hair and skin actually read

Fine or pale hair carries little of the pigment the laser needs, so some zones are quoted with a frank warning about likely yield. That reading happens at the consultation, before money changes hands.

One visit or five

Buying single sessions against the block of five

Hair grows in cycles and only the follicles in their active phase respond to a given pass, which is the whole reason blocks exist. Five is the unit published here because it is a realistic span for seeing a zone change, and it is the unit the tables above quote against.

A sensible way in is to buy one underarm session first. It is the cheapest published line on the grid, it takes minutes, and it tells you how your own hair answers before you commit a back, two legs and an abdomen to the same assumption. If the yield is poor, you have spent very little finding out.

What the published literature supports is long-term reduction: a lasting fall in how much hair grows, how thick it is and how visible it looks in a treated zone. That is a narrower claim than an end to growth, and it is the only one made here. Occasional maintenance visits afterwards hold a zone where you want it, and the plan says so in advance so nobody feels the block has failed. Zones outside this treatment sit on the body and wellness category.

Dear, Knowhow

How a GentleMax Pro plan gets priced here

01 — THE FULL ARSENAL

One platform, two wavelengths, no upsell path

The 755 nm alexandrite and the 1064 nm Nd:YAG live in the same Candela GentleMax Pro console. Switching between them is a clinical decision about your skin, and it never moves you onto a different price line.

02 — DIAGNOSIS FIRST

Skin tone is read before any zone is quoted

EVE Muse 3D imaging under five light sources with AI analysis records the skin you arrive with, including recent sun. That reading fixes the wavelength, the starting fluence and whether a test patch comes first, and all of it happens before the zones on your list are added up into a figure.

03 — DIRECTOR-PERFORMED

Settings change as the handpiece crosses a border

Sessions are director-performed. Energy and the dynamic cooling burst are re-set as the handpiece moves from thin skin over a jaw onto the tougher skin of a shin, and those adjustments are inside the published zone figure.

Caution

The two days after a multi-zone session

Shave each booked zone the day before, so the follicle stays intact and nothing above the skin can scorch.
Expect warmth, pinkness and small bumps around the follicles for roughly a day across every field treated.
Saunas, hot baths, pools and hard training wait a couple of days, and friction from tight clothing is worth avoiding.
Sunscreen daily on anything exposed; a new tan on a treated zone changes the next session’s settings.
Waxing, plucking and depilatory creams stay off between visits, because they remove the target the beam needs.

FAQ

Full body hair removal pricing, answered

How much does full body laser hair removal cost in Seoul?
It is quoted zone by zone, then added up. Underarm is ₩30,000 (≈ $20) for women and ₩50,000 (≈ $35) for men; an upper or lower abdomen is ₩170,000 (≈ $120) and ₩210,000 (≈ $150). Send the zones you want and the total comes back as an itemised list.
Is there a single package figure for the whole body?
No, and that is deliberate. Bundles hide which fields you are actually paying for and tend to include zones nobody wanted. Each published line stands alone, so you can drop a back or add a calf without renegotiating the rest of the plan.
How much does laser hair removal cost for one small zone?
Underarm and hands or feet are the entry lines at ₩30,000 (≈ $20) for women and ₩50,000 (≈ $35) for men per session, with blocks of five at ₩75,000 (≈ $55) and ₩125,000 (≈ $90). A small zone is the cheapest way to test how your hair answers.
Why is the block of five cheaper than five separate visits?
Because hair cycles mean a zone realistically needs repeat passes, so the block reflects how the treatment is actually delivered. Compare ₩140,000 (≈ $100) against ₩350,000 (≈ $250) for a calf with knee and the gap is visible without arithmetic.
Do men pay more for the same named zone?
Yes, and the tables show it plainly: an upper or lower back is ₩140,000 (≈ $100) on the women’s grid and ₩180,000 (≈ $130) on the men’s. Coarser hair and a larger surface mean more pulses and longer on the chair, which is what the difference pays for.
Will this end hair growth for good?
No. The claim supported by published trials is long-term reduction — a lasting drop in density, thickness and visibility in a treated zone. Maintenance visits afterwards are normal and are written into the plan rather than sold later as a rescue.
Which zones are worth a block, and which are worth one visit?
Coarse, dense fields such as underarm, bikini and a man’s back usually justify a block because they answer well and regrow visibly. Fine or sparse zones are often better bought one session at a time until the response is known.
Does a tan or a deeper skin tone change what I pay?
It changes the plan, not the figure. The 1064 nm Nd:YAG is far less absorbed by pigment in the skin itself and is the route for deeper tones. Recent sun raises the risk of a burn or patchy lightening, so a test patch or a postponed date is the answer there.
Are there zones or days you would refuse to treat?
Yes. Broken, infected or freshly tanned skin is not treated that day. Tattooed areas are worked around. Where the hair is white, grey or very fine we say that the yield will be poor and do not recommend buying a block for it.
What is confirmed before a session is booked?
Wavelength, starting fluence, whether a test patch comes first, the zones on your list and the published line each one is charged on. The EVE Muse scan and the doctor consultation that set those decisions happen before a date is held, and anything outside the quoted zone figure is named at that point.
Do visitors pay the same, and can a block fit one trip?
The figure is identical for residents and visitors, charged in KRW with a USD equivalent shown for reference. A block cannot be compressed into a fortnight, because sessions are spaced to catch new growth cycles; most visitors take one or two zones per trip and continue on the next.
How do I get a quote for my exact list of zones?
Send the form below naming the fields you want, your natural skin tone and any recent sun. We reply in English as soon as possible with each zone priced as a single session and as a block of five, plus a note on anything that would postpone a date. The clinic runs 365 days a year, so scheduling is rarely the obstacle.

Scientific Evidence

Published evidence on long-term reduction at 755 and 1064 nm

Both wavelengths on this console have been measured in controlled work: a randomised comparison against intense pulsed light in dark skin, an intra-individual trial setting multipass low-fluence alexandrite against high-fluence Nd:YAG in the axilla, a long-pulsed 1064 nm series across all skin types, a 30 mm spot handpiece safety and efficacy report, and a systematic review of what long-term reduction actually means.

Each reference resolves to an indexed journal through its DOI. They are why the wording on this page is reduction and why the grid is published in blocks; the yield in your own zones is estimated after your consultation.
