Underarm, hands and feet, an arm half and an abdomen half are the four body fields booked most often here. Each carries its own published line for women and for men, and each is planned by the hair and the skin in front of the handpiece.
The mechanism is the same everywhere on the body, but the material it meets is not. A body hair sits in a follicle whose depth, thickness and growth rhythm differ from one field to the next, and the laser can only reach the follicles that hold enough pigment on the day. Melanin in the shaft absorbs the pulse, turns it into heat and passes that heat down to the structure that grew it. Skin sitting directly over that follicle absorbs a share of the same energy, which is the reason the console carries two wavelengths and a cryogen burst instead of one fixed setting.
Body fields differ from facial ones in ways that matter for planning. They are larger, so a pass takes longer and the cooling has more work to do. The hair is usually coarser and holds more pigment, which helps. And a forearm has spent years in sunlight, so a summer tan changes the safe setting on exactly the zones people most want treated.
What a completed course offers is a lasting drop in how much hair grows back in a field, how thick it returns and how visible it is. That is the claim published trials support, and the only one made here.
They are published separately because they behave separately: density, follicle depth, skin thickness and how the field is held all change a session.
The densest terminal hair on the body sits here, on skin that is thin, folded and rarely sun-exposed. The arm is lifted and the hollow stretched flat so the beam meets the surface squarely. It is the smallest of these fields and usually the fastest to change.
Hair on the backs of the hands, the fingers and the toes is often finer and more sparse, with little cushion between skin and bone. Energy is kept conservative and passes are slower, and the likely yield is spelled out before a block is bought, because fine hair answers less well than coarse hair anywhere.
The published line covers an upper arm or a lower arm, because each half is a session in its own right. The surface curves in two directions, so the handpiece angle is reset constantly, and forearms carry more sun history than almost any other field.
Upper or lower abdomen, again as separate lines. Hair here runs along the midline and can be hormonally driven, which is worth saying at consultation. The skin is mobile and sometimes looser, so it is held taut for each pass and the treated strip is mapped out first.

The day before. Shave every field you have booked. The follicle has to stay in place while the hair above the surface is gone, because anything standing proud of the skin scorches and stings without helping. Waxing, plucking and depilatory creams pull out the target the beam is aiming at, so they stop at least four weeks before a first session.
Before the first pulse. EVE Muse 3D imaging under five light sources with AI analysis records the skin you walk in with, including any tan picked up since your last visit. The director reads that alongside the hair itself — colour, coarseness, density — and only then chooses between the 755 nm alexandrite and the 1064 nm Nd:YAG, sets the starting fluence and decides whether a test patch on a small corner of the field comes first.
During. Sessions are director-performed. Dynamic cooling fires a cryogen burst at the surface with every pulse, which blunts the sting and shields the epidermis while the heat travels down. An underarm or a pair of hands is over in minutes. An arm half or an abdomen half takes longer, and the settings are re-checked as the handpiece crosses from thin skin near a wrist onto the thicker skin further up.
Afterwards. Expect warmth and pinkness across the field and small raised bumps around each follicle for about a day; that reaction is the follicles responding. Shed hairs push out over the following one to three weeks and can look like regrowth when they are the opposite. The next date is set to the field’s own rhythm, and not to a calendar you picked in advance. The full treatment page for the technology itself sits at laser hair removal.

Rates are published in KRW with a USD equivalent shown so you can orient yourself, and the men’s line sits above the women’s for the same named field because coarser hair over a larger surface needs more pulses and more chair time. Back, chest, thigh, calf, bikini and facial fields carry their own separate lines on the price list. Consultation and aftercare charges are confirmed with you at the consultation itself.
At any moment, only a share of the follicles in a body field are actively growing, and only those carry enough pigment in the shaft to take up the pulse properly. The rest are resting or shedding, and they are unreachable that day whatever setting is used. Each visit therefore harvests one wave, and the next wave is caught at the next visit. Five is the unit published here because it is a realistic span over which an underarm or an abdomen half visibly changes.
Intervals are set by the field, not by your travel diary. Underarms cycle faster than an abdomen; an arm half usually sits somewhere between. Your director gives you the spacing for the zones you actually booked, and the spacing is what makes the block work.
The ceiling is worth stating plainly: what published trials support is long-term reduction in density, thickness and visibility within a treated field. Occasional maintenance visits afterwards keep a field where you want it. Anyone promising you an end to growth on a body zone is describing something the evidence does not show.
If you are unsure how your own hair answers, one underarm session first is a cheap way to find out before committing an arm and an abdomen to the same assumption.
Pigment is the target, so pigment in the skin is competition. The 755 nm alexandrite is absorbed eagerly by melanin, which makes it efficient where the surrounding skin is light enough for that appetite to be an advantage. The 1064 nm Nd:YAG is far less interested in surface pigment and reaches deeper, which is why comparative trials have used it as the route for darker phototypes and why a long-pulsed 1064 nm series has been reported across all skin types.
Both wavelengths live in the same console, so the choice is made per person and per field instead of being forced by the only device in the room. An intra-individual axillary study set multipass low-fluence alexandrite against high-fluence Nd:YAG in dark phototypes; a randomised comparison in dark skin measured long-pulsed Nd:YAG against intense pulsed light. Both are listed at the foot of this page.
Recent sun is the variable that most often moves a body session. A fresh tan loads the epidermis with pigment that competes for the pulse, which raises the odds of a burn, a blister or patchy lightening on a forearm or an abdomen. Where the scan reads a tan, the answer is a test patch, a lower starting fluence or a later date, and you will be told which.
Hair colour sets the other limit. White, grey and very fine blond body hair carries little of the pigment the beam needs, so it responds poorly on any device. Where a field reads that way we say so and do not recommend paying for a block that will not deliver.
Darkening and lumps in an underarm or along a bikini edge are occasionally pigment or inflammation wearing the costume of a hair problem. Because the pigment and acne platforms sit in the same building, an assessment that reads it that way sends you to the right one.
EVE Muse 3D imaging with five light sources and AI analysis records tone and recent sun on the skin that will actually be treated. Visitors arrive with every phototype and, in summer, with a fresh holiday tan on the exact fields they booked.
Treatment is director-performed. Energy and the cooling burst are re-set between a wrist and an upper arm, or between a flank and a midline, because one number across a whole field is a compromise on both ends of it.

Some bookings are pushed back here. Freshly tanned skin over a forearm or an abdomen changes the safe setting and raises the risk of a burn, a blister, blistering-related crusting or patchy hypopigmentation, so that field is postponed or a test patch is taken first. Broken, infected or actively inflamed skin is not treated that day, and tattooed areas are worked around. Where the hair in a field is white, grey or very fine, we do not recommend buying a block for it. Transient redness, follicular swelling and temporary pigment change are the named reactions, and individual results vary.

I've visited clinic for LDM procedure. I don't speak Korean, so there was an interpreter who assisted me while consulting. The staff was very attentive, they asked me every time before applying products/covering my face during the procedure and it went smoothly. Planning to visit the clini…
All the staff are kind, the doctor is professional. They recommended us the treatment that fit us best and last the longest. A very nice experience overall.
I did a hydrofacial, white/black head removal, and 1 day lasers. Really kind staff and reasonable prices. The only thing I would advise is that your first consultation is with a salesperson and you don’t see the doctor until after you decide what you want and after you pay.
Had a great experience here as a foreigner! The doctors and staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy. They made recommendations in my consultation and were happy to work within my budget.
