Dear Clinic is a designed-plan aesthetic clinic on two floors of the Namhangang Building in Cheongdam. Six treatment categories sit in the same building, five directors perform, and every rate is published before you walk in.
The Korean brand concept is Deasign, a compression of Dear and design, and it describes the working order more than the decor: read the skin first, draw a plan from that reading, then choose the instrument. Every consultation begins with EVE Muse 3D imaging under five light sources with AI analysis, and nothing is named to you before that reading is on the screen.
The interior follows the same idea in a quieter register — warm ivory, gold-brown and deep navy across glass-walled consultation rooms, curtained treatment bays and private recovery rooms. Comfort is part of why people return, but it is the plan they come back for.
What makes the arrangement work is that the whole arsenal is in one building. A clinic holding two lifting platforms can only offer those two. Holding seven means the examination decides, and it means a director can tell you that the device you asked for by name is the wrong one for your face without losing the visit.
Four steps run in the same sequence for every patient, whatever they arrived asking for.
3D imaging under five light sources with AI analysis records tone, texture, pigment, vascularity and recent sun. It is the reference point the plan is drawn against and the one your review visits are compared to.
The scan is discussed on screen in the consultation room, in English where needed. What you want changed is set against what the imaging shows, and the two are not always the same thing.
Shots, kilojoules, cc, threads or units are written down and priced from the published list before anything starts. Anything added later is re-quoted and re-approved rather than appearing on the bill.
Treatment is director-performed: the doctor who read your scan holds the handpiece or the syringe. Placement is where most aesthetic outcomes are won, so reading and doing stay with one person.
Each category has its own page listing the treatments actually performed here.
| Category | Representative line | Listed rate |

| Dermal fillers | The Chaeum, 1cc, general area | ₩130,000 (≈ $95) |
| Skin boosters | Rejuran Healer, 2cc | ₩300,000 (≈ $215) |
| Botulinum toxin | Wrinkle treatment, one area, Korean tier | ₩30,000 (≈ $20) |
| Laser, pigment & acne | Dual laser toning with skincare, one session | ₩200,000 (≈ $145) |

Figures are published in KRW with a USD equivalent printed for orientation at a documented conversion rate. Shot counts, cc and unit numbers are set at examination, so the published line is the unit and your plan is the sum of the units written on it. Consultation and aftercare charges are confirmed with you at the consultation.
Open every day of the year. Weekdays run 10:00 to 19:00, Saturdays 10:00 to 16:00, and Sundays and Korean public holidays 10:00 to 16:00. There is no lunchtime closure, so midday appointments are real appointments. For visitors on a short itinerary, a Sunday consultation is the difference between fitting a plan in and going home with nothing.
Where the building is. The clinic occupies the fifth and seventh floors of the Namhangang Building at 85-3 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu. Cheongdam is the quieter end of Gangnam — the district people associate with flagship boutiques and entertainment agencies more than with crowded clinic streets — and the two-floor layout is why consultation, treatment and recovery do not share a corridor.
English and Spanish. Consultations are handled in English, and this site carries a full Spanish edition with enquiries answered in Spanish. Messaging before you travel is encouraged, because most of the decisions worth making — whether your request suits you at all, how many visits it needs, what it will cost — can be narrowed down before you book a flight.
The same rate for everyone. There is no foreign-patient surcharge here. The figure on the published list is the figure charged whether you live in Cheongdam or are visiting for a week, and the clinic is registered with the Korean authorities for the care of foreign patients. Day-of-arrival treatment is often possible where the scan supports it, and where it does not, the reason is explained.

Lifting platforms, seven of them. Ultherapy Prime for focused ultrasound at the SMAS layer with real-time visualisation; Thermage FLX and Density for monopolar radiofrequency across the dermis; XERF for deep, uniform radiofrequency delivery; Onda, which uses microwaves and is neither a laser nor radiofrequency; New Titanium on the Portra Quattro for multi-wavelength lifting; and Shurink Universe as the focused-ultrasound entry tier. Thread lifting is performed alongside them.
Injectables and lasers. Hyaluronic acid fillers across several product families, collagen-stimulating and skin-quality boosters, botulinum toxin in Korean and imported tiers, and a laser room holding a vascular and pigment platform, radiofrequency microneedling, a needle-free jet injector, insulated microneedle radiofrequency for glands, toning sessions and the two-wavelength hair removal console.
The certifications that exist. Thermage certification has been held for three consecutive years, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Two of the five directors hold Ultherapy Certified Treatment Provider certificates issued by Merz Aesthetics. Those are the qualifications claimed on this site; plaques, attendance records and thank-you certificates that sit in the same cabinet are display items and are not presented here as credentials, because that distinction is worth making in an industry where it is often blurred.

Dear Clinic is run by five licensed doctors. Dr. Jemin Kim is the founder and medical director. Dr. Sanghyun Lee and Dr. Daeun Jung are board-certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Seonhaeng Lee and Dr. Woojae Jung practise as directors in aesthetic medicine. All five hold Korean medical licences on record, and their training runs through Yonsei, Seoul National, Chosun and Ajou university medical colleges.
Two things about that list matter more than the schools. The first is that every one of them treats: there is no arrangement here where a senior name consults and a junior hand injects. The second is that a plan crossing categories — toxin with lifting, filler with a booster course — is still held by one director, so the sequencing is decided by someone who can see the whole face at once.
Focused ultrasound, monopolar RF, high-density RF, microwaves, multi-wavelength lifting and threads all sit here. A clinic with two of those has two answers to every question. This one does not have that constraint.
EVE Muse 3D imaging with five light sources and AI analysis comes first for every patient. If you arrive asking for a device by name and the reading does not support it, you are told that in the room, before any money moves.
Sessions are director-performed across all six categories. The doctor who read your imaging is the one adjusting depth, dose or energy on the day, which is how a plan survives contact with an actual face.

Some requests are declined here, and it is fairer to say so on this page than in the room. We do not recommend a lifting device where the imaging shows volume loss that no energy device addresses. Filler is refused where the anatomy carries a vascular risk the plan cannot control, and the risks named for injectables — bruising, swelling, lumps, vascular occlusion, asymmetry and infection — are given by name before consent. Energy work carries burn, blistering and pigment-change risk that rises on recently tanned skin, so sessions are postponed instead of pushed through. Individual results vary, and no device in this building promises a fixed outcome.
Director-performed treatment is a Dear promise — your procedure is planned and performed by the doctors below.

I've visited clinic for LDM procedure. I don't speak Korean, so there was an interpreter who assisted me while consulting. The staff was very attentive, they asked me every time before applying products/covering my face during the procedure and it went smoothly. Planning to visit the clini…
All the staff are kind, the doctor is professional. They recommended us the treatment that fit us best and last the longest. A very nice experience overall.
I did a hydrofacial, white/black head removal, and 1 day lasers. Really kind staff and reasonable prices. The only thing I would advise is that your first consultation is with a salesperson and you don’t see the doctor until after you decide what you want and after you pay.
Had a great experience here as a foreigner! The doctors and staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy. They made recommendations in my consultation and were happy to work within my budget.

The clearest illustration of the diagnostic model above is the lifting shelf, where two mechanisms compete for the same complaint. A comparative histometric analysis examined what focused ultrasound and radiofrequency each do to skin; a clinical account described microfocused ultrasound with visualisation for tightening and lifting; and a systematic review assessed micro-focused ultrasound for rejuvenation and tightening.
Each entry resolves to an indexed journal through its DOI. They describe mechanisms, and which of them applies to your own face is settled at your examination.
References are provided for information — outcomes vary by individual and are assessed at your diagnosis.
